- Since I guess Tankless heaters are in my blood, I've decided to take this channel a few steps further. The number of questions, comments and
E-mails I get per week I will be, in the near future be doing this full time. My son and Son-in-Law will be taking over the business, I will be still there to help considering the studio is in the shop LOL which will give me more time to devote myself to the channel.
Once I have received what props I will need to setup the studio and what I will need to setup the live fire section of the studio I will be Increasing the training schedule for the classes that I will provide. I will also be hosting the level three training class which will include actual live installation instruction included in the class. (See future updates)
First step will be Patreon, I will be posting special instructional videos for you licensed plumbers on the complete step by step installation of a tankless heater. These will go through the mounting of the unit, water piping, gas piping, venting and wiring. These can be purchased through my Patreon page you can also become a member at That tankless guy.

You’re boldly jumping into the 21st century, lol. Just verify your gas valve wasn’t converted to natural gas for any previous videos or you’ll be in for one hell of a surprise when you hook up the LP! Glad to see your channel growing.

Good stuff. We need your help 😂. I'm having a hard time finding videos for older Rinnai models. I have an R85 that threw a code 11 followed by a 52. I've done the things to clear the 11. Afraid the 52 is the PCB which is no longer available. I've seen one mention of a reset sequence for the PCB, but no specifics.
Hey tankless guy congratulations on your growth and certainly wish you the best in the future! Question for you... I am a homeowner I have Rinnai RU180in ... It's just over 3 yrs old. I have performed a flush on the unit so I think I'm good there. However, I'm getting hot water for about 15-20 minutes and then it goes cold for 3 minuites or so, and then returns back to hot. I have seen several videos on UA-cam where guys are taking out the blower and clean it out and put it back in. My unit doesn't a blower that you can easily access like the ones I've seen on UA-cam. Any recommendations? Thank you!
