How do you format the HDD in ZKTeco DVR

Is it possible to plug the rj-45 of the camera to our Adsl modem / wifi router directly? supplied 12v power by using a 12v adapter. I can see the camera in internet explorer but it is always offline in Antarview when I try to access by mobile phone. I need a solution. Thanks
