Just came to say divided means the elements aren't bound to each other anymore for example if you have an L shape light element all 4 are bound to each other, once you place something on top it removes all 4 even if it is only 1 part of it unless you have divided active, making it to only shave off the part that is overriten instead of all 4.
never actually thought about it that way, thanks for the clarification, now i feel like a dumb dumb haha
To be fair it doesn't state it anywhere and if you are used to not overwriting stuff and than you unlock divided you don't really notice it. Either way thanks for all the guides watched them since sophie 1 :3
@@Primalliquid92 Great Guide. Thanks for doing these. However one thing: I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the "Elemental Switch" affect will carry over the link status of what it's used on. For example, using light elemental switch on a normal elec element will give you a normal light element, but if you use it on an elect link(Star) you will get a light link(Star). The only difference between this power and the other one is that the other one can turn non-star elements into star elements.
... that's what I was thinking... that "Hey... this 'divided' thing is incredibly valuable - the whole stonkin' SHAPE doesn't sink and screw up the synthesis now - isn't that what I'm seeing?" thought I was losing my bleedin' mind for a moment...
I got a platinum on Ryza 1 and got Sophie 2 , and will move one to Ryza 2 and 3 afterwards. Gotta say that this is helpful . PLUS I never ever in my freaking life would have believed that I would love a game such as this THIS much. jesus

How do you get all 4 of the planters? I've been farming plant seeds for almost 3 hours straight and still only have 2 and just got my 3rd weather stone before hand. I thought they were stone based but I guess not

I just started last night and I’m seven minutes in and completely lost. Any chance you could just explain the very basics. I didn’t understand the tutorial at all. Where are you supposed to place things, what are you trying to do? Fill the board? Match the pictures? I have no idea.
What catalyst did you use to full upgrade the Growlia catalyst? I have my Growlia with 7x7 and component divided but I can’t, for the life of me, get those two effects alongside components inverted… and Limitia just can’t get the job done…
How do you increase the quantity? I need alchemic clay synth quantity +4
I don't have the clay yet, but I am sure you need to get the first effect high enough.
so for silver crystals, i need pickaxe gathering rank 2...what exactly is the game asking me here?...to craft better quality pickaxe?..to rank up diebold's abilities?..I'm really confused, i have crafted a lot of pickaxe with super success but I'm not sure what i should be focusing on here
you need a pickaxe with the ability to gather tier 2 items (inspect the pickaxe and it will tell you the name of th effect you need)
What about the element symbols on the panel? is it worth it to place a star there? i see you are ignoring them.
I had the same question. You get a bonus +1 to your element bar if the element of your shape matches the symbol. Doesn't seem to matter whether it's a star or a square.

What exactly does it mean by “hit 3 enemies with staff” because I’ve done it like a million times and it won’t unlock

I need help. So I have only noticed this recently and I’m already mid-game, that when I use Plachta to synthesise, using the ice links, Assist skill wont work with Olias. By that, I mean that when I have enough links, I can add an extra material to synthesise with. I have no problem getting this with the others using Plachta, but with Olias, it doesn’t seem to trigger :(

Not far enough in yet to see for myself, but are Catalysts basically just Atelier Sophie 1's Cauldrons with a new name?

It come from firis.Alchemist system in this game is mix between firis and sophie1

@@emzmaxwell8185 yea, Sophie’s story and gameplay was better than Ryza for me too but the synthesis system is better in Ryza in my opinion. You’re original comment only asked for synthesis so I just assumed that the other things didn’t matter much lol I would’ve said Sophie otherwise.
When do we get 7x7 panel ?
you can get a 7x7 panel pretty much the moment you unlock catalysts you just need to synthesise a new one
Which bomb type do you recommend when make the Inferno bomb hammer? I trying to max effect all of it, thinking which work?
