This truly felt like an Ancient Greek play. A Greece player born in England died, and the two countries had to face each other. Then, in a game filled with lots of drama (offside goals, shots saved in the line, spectacular goals and so on), Greece actually managed to defeat England, perfectly playing tribute to George Baldock. There couldn't have been a better game to honour him. May he Rest in Peace.
As a french i often find our actual national team's quality disappointing, then i watch news from England's team and i feel not alone lol

They've been playing really well lately. They were very unlucky not to qualify for the Euros. Just missed out by losing the play-off against Georgia on penalties, bare in mind it was played at Tbilisi (Georgia) and the fans were shining lasers in the Greek players' eyes. They had Netherlands and France in their group, they drew 2-2 with France lost the other one and lost twice to Netherlands, they won the rest of the games pretty comfortably. There is definitely talent in this Greek team.
