The old jazz is great, especially Count Basie, but how about getting back to classical with the RCA Living Stereo and Mercury Living Presence albums? I'm getting into the pre-owned and that's a lot of fun.

Count Basie "For the Second Time" is great sounding LP with good songs. Racehorse is the killer track with drum whack towards the end. Drum sounded real.

I was just spurred into a desire to own more big band music by the soundtrack of a UA-cam viewing of a documentary about the professional drum shop, and now this comes along. I hope it's not only for subscribers.
Just the first 300 are for subscribers. If you are not wanting to subscribe, then you can buy the ones you want individually.
I'd love to see a Basie on Pablo box set. Some of Basie's best work was in his indian summer period in the 1970s. Pulling it all together would be magnificent! Or perhaps you could split it between a big band box and a small groups box.

You could always put out the Basie on 3 Track SACD… just in case we forgot that’s still possible 😊.
I already own most all of these titles… however, they are all CD since no SACDs were ever released.
Perhaps SACD could be considered for these re-releases?

I wish Chad had chosen Zoot Sims & Jimmy Rowles - "If I'm Lucky" and Joe Pass & Paulinho Da Costa - "Tudo Bem". Hopefully, AP will do a third season of Pablo and include these titles.

Started my introduction to Oscar via his Pablo recordings and had hoped if there was a second series they would include The History of an Artist” Oscar Peterson and perhaps “Freedom Song - The Oscar Peterson Big 4 in Japan 82” or “Oscar Peterson et Joe Pass A Salle Pleyel.
Any of these will be released on SACD?

Wishing Chad and the gang every success, but I wish they would up the quality (of the sleeves) for reissues like Herbie Hancock's Headhunters. Bought a 45rpm copy recently, and a few others, the sleeves were really poor quality. I guess I've been spoiled by their Acoustic Sounds series (with the very highest quality Stoughton tip-on style jackets).
Coltrane - ‘past his prime’ in 1963? WTF are those commentators about? Hope Afro Blue Impressions gets the nod real soon. SACD too.
Thanks for cancelling my order for Coltrane's Sound which I placed in September 2023 without telling me, no explanation nothing, communication skills of roadkill. Now shipping a part order which is uneconomic! Terrible service - All Americans should be accompanied by an adult

Subscriptions need to go away and never return. Forcing customers to buy 3 records they dont want for 1 they do is NOT COOL. The first TP Society cut is flipping for $160 already.

I’ve been a long time customer of Chad’s… have ordered hundreds of records…and have never once had a shipping issue. I’d say 99.99% of Acoustic Sounds customers would say the same.
I’m all for diversity of thought, but trash should be swept out…. Just my thinking…
