It won't be an exact return to form but I hope it improves and becomes something recognizable. The tongue in cheek making fun of TNG and the earlier shows is just not funny and the negative perceptions of the TNG cast because of Cowboy Diplomacy is just idiotic and plain wrong. Man those TNG films.....that I still love.....geez.
Hello. Well, even though I don't judge those who dislike modern "Star Trek"--including my #1 current "Star Trek" show, "Prodigy"--I'm looking forward to the final season of "Picard." Thank you for sharing.
My friend who likes some of Nu Trek really likes Prodigy too. I see it as there attempt to make a Clone Wars for Star Trek. I watched it and thought it resembled Star Wars more than Trek after only one episode. Tell me what you like about it.
@@Nerdporeal Well, I must be honest: "Prodigy" is fun to watch. I love its score. There are people who have been associated with both "Star Trek" *and* "Star Wars."
While the first episode is a lot better than any so called Trek in the last years, it still has a lot of problems: dark bridges, cursing, people bitching about age related health issues in a setting were medicine is practically magic, bashing the classic characters and ships in universe, and so on... But I trust multiple people that have seen more episodes already, so I'll stick with it and hope for the best.
Episode 2 was major step in the wrong direction. I am concerned now. I will continue to watch but I am more skeptical now than optimistic. I really want to like this show...
Can't Wait for Picard Season 3!! I have heard some great things from great sources. Fingers & Toes crossed!!!
Likewise. I really want to see something that is truly Star Trek again. It brings out the emotion in me...
RMB's enthusiasm is pretty catching. I really hope this is a return to form, that we actually get some good Star Trek. Stay Nerdporeal!

Fortune favors the Bold. I wish I shared your optimism brother.
That first episode after several rewatches has grown on me, I'm excited to see what comes next!

I don't dare to hope, but to dream? Aye, that I can do.
