Given that this particular car has the 3.8 Cozzy it's conceivable the car is even older than 2015. Early cars started being delivered in the latter part of 2010. Having said that, the cars were starting at somewhere around 390k plus donor back then. With all the attention they garnered, they began trading hands at that lofty million dollar mark. The simple fact is I think they've lost a little of that luster. The hype that saw them achieve that monumental rise in value so quickly, means that there's simply not enough meat on the bone for anyone else. IMO
The odd part about that Singer auction is the pattern of past bids by the winning bidder. Bobby1601 had bid on several blue 911s, but always within safe margins of the reserve. One time, he had the winning bid, but RNM. I think this user was bidding on the Singer, assuming that the car would carry a reserve of over 1mil, yet he ended up winning. I wouldn't be surprised if this car is relisted soon.
Porsche sued Singer Vehicle Design in 2024 over the use of Porsche branding and trademarks on Singer's DLS and DLS Turbo vehicles: The lawsuit Porsche accused Singer of: Using Porsche's trademarks illegally Creating a car using a Porsche shell and VIN Marketing the car as a Porsche product, even though Porsche never offered a DLS or DLS Turbo.

Good intel. We should do more to pay attention to who is bidding as well as how much.
The arm rests are actually pretty lame. They look like they came from a 60’s/70’s bug
