I find these Chuck E. Cheese videos way more entertaining than I thought I would 😂
OH WOW ITS YOU
Man you're a comedic genius
i lived there
Hey Chris, glad you visited my local, unfortunately Helen doesn't move as much as she did early on before the Rockstar outfit was received for Chuck, Munch's mouth doesn't move as wide as it used to, Jasper doesn't move as fast as he used to in the 90s, and as you already noticed, Pasqually's mouth is either jammed open or broken, the stage has been there since opening day, in fact, I have actually filmed a show at this location, I filmed "Game On!" here.
Odd, supposedly this was a Pizza Time Theatre location that originally opened with a Balcony Stage?
Wow this is my childhood location I just called and they said the stage is gone
@@JimBobJoeB0breally? That’s weird…
AYYY ITS THE CEC WHERE ME AND 8 OTHER COLLEGE STUDENTS RESERVED FOR A BIRTHDAY WHEN IT WASNT EVEN MY BIRTHDAY AND WE JUST WANTED TO HAVE A PARTY
hope everything worked out for you.
Same but I didn’t go there for with my school. I went there just for fun and I still go there.
And if we did, it will be free and there’ll be too much kids there and my friends would probably not want to play in the littlekids area
The type of person i wanna be when i grow up:
You might not be conflating memories. While the particular Chuck E. Cheese you visited here opened in 1992, there was one in the area before that. I don't know how well you know the area, but Okemos is a little suburb right up against Lansing. Lansing isn't just the city of Lansing itself. It's where the Meridian Mall is. There was a Chuck E. Cheese right there by the mall for many years. I know it was there in the mid-80s because I remember being taken there for a couple birthday parties. They didn't close that one down until somewhere around 2000 I believe. So, its entirely possible that a visit to Lansing did include a visit to Chuck E. Cheese's.
There's a reason the area is referred to as the Greater Lansing Area, because Lansing isn't just Lansing. Several cities have grown into each other so when people say "Lansing", they are often including the cities East Lansing, Okemos, Holt, Haslett, Delta Township, and Meridian Township.
It was where the best buy is, but was converted to the Little Ceasers competitor before becoming the best buy and leaving parts undisturbed until around 2012ish. Wish I was more help but I only know this from my local mother telling me this upon visiting that Best Buy at the time.
Always nice to see a store where the band is in good shape.
I've been watching these while at work, really such a mood booster. Thank you for your dedication Chris!!
Edit: I love nothing more than seeing the stage in great condition. Those animatronics look so good despite their small amounts of wear
I appreciate you watching!
The animatronics are in fabulous condition all are moving very well almost like cec is giving them actual support. Doubt they are but they all function impeccably compared to other horrible cec original bots.
I’m glad to hear that they aredoing very well and Chuck E. Cheeses mouth was broken but then they fixed it and hopefully they all are doing very well. I know Chuck E. Cheese is doing well, and maybe Helen Henny is doing good and I think mr munch is doing great and Jasper T jowls and Pasqualy I think they’re probably doing good
Awesome! I'm glad you went so much out of your way to come see this store. I visited several months ago and the show was in great shape too. I noticed it was my local store as soon as I saw pasqually's apron. The owners seem to care about them a lot!
Good to see another video from you Chris! It had been a while I was starting to get worried haha. Interesting location with that 90s Pasqually apron!
Another amazing video! ❤❤
Awesome, love these videos. I grew up going to the old Milwaukee location with the showroom, and Brookfield wis, with the first studio alpha stage
Definitely one of my favorite 2 stages!
Bad news. That CEC got converted into a 2.0 months earlier, so these animatronics ain't seeing the light of day.
Pretty awesome setup
I hate that they got rid of all the animatronic stages here in Michigan. And my granddaughter has autism and she’s completely obsessed with Jasper.
the 2 stage was originally in the far left corner (left of the current showroom). around 2000 they received a studio c alpha and almost moved their showroom to the current kiddie area but never happened and then they just moved the 2 stage to the area seen in this video
Also....great video Chris! 😊
Love the videos. And I love the fact ur from the same place I am. Unfortunately the flint chuck e cheese was torn down and is now a car wash. Keep up the great work
Cool chuck e cheese rat wink prop. Always love that.
It’s great that they programmed Chuck for the crochet all day song. So wonderful to see.
it’s old so of course it’s programmed
@@DaMeaun okay. I didn’t know. I thought it was a new song because it has the new Chuck E Cheese in the video.
@@daniellea.8829 ya the videos have been puppet form since 2014.
I worked there back in high school< i had to wear the suit's too ( man where they hot) Glad to see the animatronics are still going! been 20 years since i last went there :) The Subs they had back in the day when i was there were amazing, ALSO they had a ball crawl with tunnels hanging off the ceiling back then.
3:59 yo u can hear a haribo ad lol
there was a pizza time theatre in okemos, which is only like 15 minutes from lansing. it's possible you went to that one as a kid!
Wow, I just looked that up, that has to be it! I'll bet that's also why I remember taking the back roads toward Lansing on our way to it. Thanks for the tip!
@@SetsStreetsEats yeah of course! some random tidbits of info if you're interested: it turned into a little caesar's family fun pizzeria in the late 80s/early 90s when the whole showbiz merging with chuck e cheese thing happened. then in the late 90s it turned into caesarland which was basically little caesar's version of chuck e cheese but without the animatronics. that closed in 2008 and it sat empty for a while, now it's an office depot.
@@Samantha_Lee Is that the location that had the balls you could jump in?
Yes, it did have a ball pit.
Hi crish , this video is so good .
had to click on the video as I'm a lansing resident and recognized the location since I shop at the target and gamestop that's right there quite often. I also think that location was renovated during covid and I think the big stage is new cause when I took my nephew there quite a few years ago I remember the stage being quite a bit smaller.
Oh wow.. the band looks super nice, and it's impressive to see a Pasqually apron from the 90s
Yeah that’s cool, but why is pasqulys mouth broken in the video
@Ponygirl385 oh okay whenever I go there fixed
@DanKnight22 His mouth is still broken
@SquirrelsForDope when I went for his mouth is still broken
@SquirrelsForDope and it’s probably still broken. May be good and try their best to close it.
Nice video
hopefully i get to go here before the remodel!
Hey, I live in Lansing! I've been to this exact location before.
Coming from a once working here perspective, the animatronics were the best part of the facility!
Glad to see that there are still some stages out there and that 2.0 hasn't taken over all of them yet.
Yeah. I will be forever mad because of 2.0
@@LPS_VIDS I have a local in Michigan but it’s Saginaw or Detroit cuz Saginaw’s has 2.0 I think Detroits doesn’t I’ve never ever visited Detroits I only went to Saginaws.
@@LPS_VIDS I have grown up going to Saginaw’s one.
@@LPS_VIDS and I’m going this friday.
@@Lillythesteakfan oh ok have fun
Hey sets streets and eats please revisit this Chuck E. Cheese in west Saginaw highway even though it’s remodeled please visit it!
They might keep it cause CEC is keeping stages now
I was there yesterday
Lansing area had a Ceasarland before the Chuck E. Cheese. It was located in Okemos, not far off the old hwy 69. Is it possible you are remembering The Little Caesar’s playland?
2 stage
Can you visit Chuck e Cheese in Hicksville NY Plz
The reason why Chuck E. Cheese’s mouth is working because they fixed it before it will just go open and then not open open the open and then some time his mouth did not work, even though it was his turn to speak, and I have to tell the manager/cast members that his mouth was not working
Can you check if Munch has piano keys on his key board thing
Hey Chris. Have you gone to la mesa? If no then you should because your almost out of time
Lansing is the only Chucky Cheese I have ever been to because my sister, who is older, wanted to go
Should have gone to Little Panda for for Chinese. It's in the same strip mall and its arguably the best in town.
My guy was literally 3 minutes away from my house 💀💀💀
They're definitely cyberamic drums because they would be bigger
FIRST! I love ur videos ,hope for more rock afire
they look like its a copy of a rock afire drum front look tho its not from the rock afire explosion i beleve
Yeah they remodel in August or September I think. I try to go there every chance I get because once they remodel I ain't got nowhere else to see the full band animatronics.
I had all my birthdays here as a young kid. I’m glad they didn’t get rid of the animatronics.
A small version of a rock-afire explosion kick drum design. An original chuck e cheeses pizza time theater location.
I couldn't find any record that Lansing had a Chuck E Cheese pizza time theater, can you cite the source?
@@SetsStreetsEats It never was. Opened in 1992. They had a completely different layout back then. It’s my local 2-stage.
I recall it having a showroom in the beginning. Then they expanded and got rid of the showroom at the same time.
