That’s two song of the days in a row that are now stuck in my head,,,, thanks Brian,,,, and why does it always work out that when you’re working cattle the last bunch is always the problem child bunch 😂
Hello Brian & Cole, my G-son finally hooked me up so I can comment! I've been watching you for a year or two & thoroughly enjoyed your posts. Congratulations on your recent marriage Cole. Stay warm & safe...
LOL Google said. Etymology. Possibly from the fact that cattle let out to pasture may be only expected to return for milking the next morning; thus, for example, a party that goes on “until the cows come home” is a very long one.
Your routine could be stressful at times but your dad and you always seem to have a blessed time at the farm working the cows together so we’ll see you on your next adventure with the farm ❤🇺🇸❤️🦌
If your job wasn't hard enough already, pile the snow up with the wind and cold, gee whiz I couldn't survive. Y'all are a tough family. Thanks for the hard work!
That went pretty well. Fascinating to me all the operations that have to go on to make a place work. AND all the WORK that has to go on to make the place function. NO matter what the weather or temperature. Good on ya guys!! Thanks for the ride..
You guys are awesome. Today it was 56 degrees, sunny and I called it a day at 3:45 in the afternoon. Hey I was painting outside on the shaded side of the house and in shorts. So yeah, I know what a day these gentleman are going through. Yes just like them tomorrow I will be out there busting my butt at 10:00 am.( THANK YOU FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO)
Hey Cole and Brian, I’ve been doing garage doors for thirty years, and will help you out any way I can. Great video as always, thank you guys for inviting us to join you on your day to day chores. The cows are looking great.
Cole-Always love your vid’s, but i do miss some of your comments from when you were single. Your comment, “sure wished I had a bigger steering wheel to hang onto”, was a classic!
It's always good when the cows come home! I don't remember Brian picking Fly Like and Eagle before, good pick, even if you have picked it before. Some nice looking cows, they can lose their sense of direction some times. Nice one Cole, thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
The levels of snow and cold you guys get is over the top to me, yet in the spring and summer you can grow such good crops. Liked that song of the day, the first tape I ever owned was an 8 track of 'The Steve Miller Band, Book of Dreams', I traded for it. I could write a short story on how I did that back in the day.
I do not envy all you guys go thru to feed us non farmers. Thanks for the entertainment Brian and Cole. Ya Dad sure picks really good songs of the day. Fly like an Eagle is one of my favorites from an awesome album. Cole might not know what an album or 45 is. I think I'll have a rib eye steak for dinner in your honor.
It looks freezing Cold where you lads are ! I hope it never gets that cold down here in southern Florida ( our Pool Water hovers around 86F ). Uncle Jeff is a funny fella that we need more of . Tony in Florida
Hi from the UK. No snow here at the moment. Thank god. We are decorating our front and back room. Looking good at the moment. New floors, new paint job, New lights. How is your home coming along Cole...?? No kids at home now Brian..?? Stay safe and warm. Good video.
We got freezing rain and sleet this week in the Quah, about an inch of the stuff. It’s starting to melt off now (Saturday) though. There’s that Sooner trailer. Barn words! How many did you have to edit out? A cow in motion stays in motion, hopefully in the right direction. Shoot! I’ve lived in worse places than that. Fly like an eagle let my spirit carry me…I want to fly like an eagle til I’m free..oh oh there’s a revolution.. Brian, “I do beef.” Thanks for doing beef! Thanks for letting us help with winter chores. Storla Station
I think Brian is right about that shop for your skid steer. A little Flex Seal on that roof and it will be good as new. Glad to see the snow is starting to add up for you guys. At least a bit of spring moisture.
Tomorrow is gonna be a great day! Toasty boots and a day closer to Claving. Now have you had them checked to see who’s dropping soon or is that coming yet?
Gotta love coming home after a full day of work cows and watching a video of dudes working cows. Also for once I’m jealous of your snow. It’s very shloppy here.
Always Nice to have them close by, how are fertilizer prices, overhere in the netherlands they are dropping but still crazy high like 580 a ton, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
This was no doubt filmed before the bog ol polar votrex rolled through.. but is there a temperature that you almost think.. hummm, should we put them in the barn tonight? Or is there a temperature that they can't withstand..love ya'll keep up the good work!
“A cow in motion tends to stay in motion”… great quote Cole.
Cole, the ranching physicist!
Very wise man
Half a ton of angry pot roast hurts. If you know, well, you know.
HA! That song of the day, “Fly like an Eagle” 🦅 Was my first eight track album! 😂 Good Memories! 👍😎
As always, great video. “Cattle in motion, tend to stay in motion.” Good line for sure
These may be the happiest cattle in America
"Poop frozen door" Can I quote you? 😊 You both have a way with words.
I’m glad Brain is feeling better
“Slow poke coming up the rear”. Right in my mid sip of coffee. I had to change my shirt…. 😂😂
serious?
Snow & cold always have to fight harder. Sonne Farms is doing it well. Make it look easy, even though it's not. Well thought out plans.
Ps Cole did you pay your bribe of extra perllets ??
His farm work looks simple until we get to it.
That’s two song of the days in a row that are now stuck in my head,,,, thanks Brian,,,, and why does it always work out that when you’re working cattle the last bunch is always the problem child bunch 😂
Excited for. Calving time👍
they hang back...and wait
the "slow poke...." comment had my coffee flying! hahahahaha!! Good one Cole

Hello Patsy!
It makes me cold just watching your winter videos. Brr!!! I could absolutely NOT stand to live there. No way possible! 🥶🥶🥶

you bet!
Great song of the day… and appropriate going into the Super Bowl.. Go Birds!
You've got the two best cutting horses I've ever seen!
I GET THE NO HORSES. BUT THEY DONT INVEST IN A TRUE COW DOG . SORRY BUT NOT VERY SMART
@@aaronemmett2785
A good, calm, well-used-to-humans herd does not require a nippy loud "true cattle dog"......
OMG Cole I busted out laffing when you said “One of these things is not like the other”
If your job wasn't hard enough already, pile the snow up with the wind and cold, gee whiz I couldn't survive. Y'all are a tough family. Thanks for the hard work!
It's impressive to see how he accomplishes the hard work on his farm
I laughed at the picking up calves, but still having four wheelers story. Because that sounds like something I would do. 😊👍🏻
Always think positive Cole!!
I would love to see the inside of that red barn at your place cole!
Thanks team. Poop Frozen Door is the name of a king in Europe.😂😂😂
Great video……I’ve been missing Uncle Jeff…..hope he is well ! ❤😊
"Got to get a tube of that spackle". LOL
Good to see the new truck get a working
Look at all the snow!! Glad to see it!!
That went pretty well. Fascinating to me all the operations that have to go on to make a place work. AND all the WORK that has to go on to make the place function. NO matter what the weather or temperature. Good on ya guys!! Thanks for the ride..
Thank you Sonne farms!!!

Cole.just think how green your early pastures will be with all that snow in February 😆
Not only green pastures but good sub moisture for corn planting and soybeans along with a great first cutting of your winter hay 😀
Breaking through a huge snow drift is a right of passage for anyone at any age. Makes you feel young.
