Will this work if your remote is not working properly? When I hit the right it goes left and vice-versa. I took the batteries out, then put them back in. Then I unplugged for 60 seconds but it still doesn't work. Will your instructions work without the old remote bevause I have a new Firestick Lite.
I’ve literally just had this myself and sorted it! What you need to do is reset the firestick by unplugging leave off for 60secs then hold the home button for 10 secs till starts flashing then take the remote to the stick so it’s super close to the stick and continue holding the home button it took about 30-40 seconds for me and it connected via bluetooth
