If 1/3 of the team each side so often just use this tank it's a clearly indicate that it is to overpowered. FV4005 destroyed the gameplay feeling of era1. A lot of tanks with smaller canons nobody played because of the fear of the FV4005.
Quit crying about the 477, they already butchered that tank and it's a useless POS. If you are trying to pen the 477 then your a sped that doesn't understand how to play. It's kryptonite is HEs.
While this is a nerf gotta be honest it does not feel its nerfs at all when I'm nailing someone for 1200 constantly so as long as they don't mess with the damage per shot still pretty powerful
Because there is no way they can make everyone happy because it will always be a good tank in my opinion just people are either bad at playing it or people are bad at countering it

I might actually play era 1 more now. It is one of the oldest tanks and is consistently played by people for a reason. The amount of games I get into with old tanks that have 4 people playing them on each team is rare, with the 4005 it is common for a reason.

There are two main problems with the FV4005 CW; people with no patience to grind out the British TD line in ww2 flock to it because it's attainable in a single afternoon of grinding, and players who use it in CW have a seal clubber mindset similar to the Panzer V/IV players (they're often the same people). Era 1 is an introductory era for many people trying to get into the game, tanks that delete 60-90% of the hit points of any starting line vehicles don't belong in era 1.
So they took a decent tank and made it "meh". I never thought it was over powered, they get chewed up by the lights too easily... that argument holds true whether I'm playing lights or the 4005...
I think still this tank is pretty stable i just got it i only got this one bc tier X sucks and i like having derp moments in era 1 with the garbage armor of the era 1's.

FV4211 I'd just like to add that the drivers hatch sitting in the middle of the upper plate is auto pen for any tank it can meet. Even if he facehugs you and lifts his gun and wiggles his turret. The driver's hatch has always been there just asking to get slapped. My guess is more players have learned the weakpoints of the FV4211 as time has gone by.

Just have to shoot the lower plate if it's facing you, or shoot through the front drive wheel of the tracks if it's angling. That's the easiest way to pen it. 👍

This didn't need the nerf at all, only the MM need to be adjusted in regards to the number in a game and players needed to learn how to play the thing as well as play against it. Its called using your brain.
If 5 FV4005 playing on each side, it's just this tanks which decided which side will win, the other tanks have been there to visiting the map and that's it. A change on the FV4005 was needed very much.

The nerf was not necessary for this tank. The one they need to look at and adjust is the Object 477A. The frontal armor is insane.
