Thanks for the sneak peak. Has anyone ever worked this yard? Im wondering what a typical day working here as a railyard operator is like.

What an amazing facility! So much stuff to inspire us model railroaders. Not just buildings, but the way the grass looks, the dirt, the roads. The trusses and pipes, cooling towers, everything! Thanks for sharing.

Excellent video. Please tell us you have more!!
Can’t imagine there are more boxcars than tank cars or hopper cars at a Kodak plant??

Very nice. I was out that way Wednesday and did the tour of the Eastman museum , just a day trip to get out of the heat. Thanks for the vids!

That old Kodak site (now the Eastman Business Park) is massive. Looks even bigger than the old Bethlehem Steel site in Lackawanna.

I'd have to agree with you, I haven't even come close to seeing the entire business park with my drone!

Wow, that's an impressive complex. So that "butthead" is a working museum piece. Pretty cool stuff.

Pretty much! The Kodak Park Railroad used to have three, now only this one remains from what I was told. The industrial park is quite impressive indeed, and I've only seen just a fraction of it!

.how close were you to the action? It sounded like wheel-rail noise, but I couldn't hear any bell or horn...edit: ugh I never wait until the end......now I hear a bell

Roughly 3/4 of a mile away. I didn't start recording sound until 12:15 in the video, and the sound before that was recorded at a later time.

That was an awesome video Matty! Do you know if the crew was operating remotely from the white pickup truck that follows along the train?

Thank you! The crew doesn't operate remotely; the conductor was riding around in the truck while the engineer was inside the cab.

Yeah I spotted that right from the beginning. Watching the shove from the pickup..... interesting.
