Thats great! Ofcourse performance mode will give better FPS than the other two options. If you want a balance of visual quality and FPS you’d wanna go for balanced or quality. Ultimately i think TAAU at a lower render scale of 60%-80% would give the biggest fps boost. 👍
That means you have a GPU bottleneck at your resolution and reducing render resolution helps you. Everyone will have different results with this. The best way is to use a program like rivatuner to watch the GPU usage as you change the scaling setting. If it's at 98-100%, lowering it can give you more fps. If it's below that, lowering it won't help with fps. For me, going below quality isn't helping, for some other players going to performance would.
Don't use high priority use above normal and the dpi/fullscreen optimization stuff is snake oil. If you actually don't want to degrade the visuals of your game. The two settings to turn down are effects to high and lumen gi to high. Then set dlss to whatever. Worth noting that there are diminishing returns below quality. Like 10% extra perf per preset. Anyway yeah taau will be less expensive and if you want even more frames you can use fsr 3 frame gen. Dlss frame gen isn't really worth it here.
Yep sadly the latest update removed the ability to change most game settings using config files. Hopefully another update will make the overall performance better.
It says “the operation could not be completed access is denied” when I tried to set to high priority
performance nvidia dlss gives me 30fps more then quality, what you talking?

why tauu instead of amd fsr?
Alot of players including me have gotten much better performance from TAAU over FSR especially on AMD gpus
also TAAU has a better image quality than FSR
they nerfed config files?
