드라마긴 하지만 동이의 캐릭터는 참 대단하네요
보통 인간은 자신의 비천했던 과거를 감추려하고 하고 오히려 더 오버해서 아닌 척 하기 마련인데요
나도 출신이 천인이었다면서 이들을 돕는 저 마음씨와 기개는 우리가 추구하는 고결한 인간성을 보는 듯 합니다
물론 현실에서는 기대하기 어렵겠지만요

Its been a year since dongyi watched in teledrama in tv, but now only I am watching it here in Philippines I really like it it's very nice story. About love, politics and power.. Dongyi always have a good heart.. :-)

Always my favorite korean series, been watching back in 2010 when i was 19yo.
검계가 재건되고 동이친구가 옥사에서 숙종한테 말한게 "천인인 우리가 억울하고 짓밟힐때 아무도 나서주지않았다"고 했는데 동이가 지금 억울한 이들을 위해 나서주고 위해주고있구나.ㅠㅠ

Dong Yi are real story? I was 5 day watching this Historical film i was so amazed, i fell Love, Sad and happy while watching this..All character was amazing specially the Dongji and the king.. thank you for loading this..
Most of this drama is fiction, but it is true the king had a concubine of low status whose son became the next king. It's also true she was close to the deposed Queen Inhyun and she testified against Concubine Chang that got her the death sentence. There's never any full story of loyal ladies in the record (not even their first names most of the time) so they made up a lot of story for drama
@@SemaAvalith only low borns didn't have their names registered during the Joseon era. So while Dong Yi is probably not her real name, Jang ok Jung was the real name of Jang Hee Bin.
@@temmieolaoye5106 you wont be able to find a lot of historical records of the actual first names of the queens or concubines unless you're famous or infamous like her lol
@@SemaAvalith perhaps on Wikipedia or net, but it's not possible for records of the name of a middle class woman to still be available or that of Queen's won't.
Queen inhyeon was also very famous but if you search online for her name you most probably won't find it but it was definitely recorded just not available online.
@@temmieolaoye5106 It just isn't ancient Korean culture to write down the first names of women in a family especially if they are married into it; you often only see the region/city they are from with their last name. For example, 희빈 장씨 was more likely written as 인동 장씨 and 인현왕후 was written as 여흥 민씨. This was the common practice.

I love how those two constantly reference their past role together in another historical drama, either jewel in the palace or yi San. It’s like OMG YEASH! A REFERENCE TO THE OTHER DRAMA THEY DID TOGETHER! LOL YASH!
