I've started watching DongYi at 11 and now I'm 21. Always watching two or three times of every year. I'm really addicted to this drama and all characters. If you watch this with sincerity, you can understand all characters even villians.

2019 and still watching! Dong Yi is really one of the best saeguk kdrama. You can watch it all over again and still find it very interesting to watch. It tackles not only romance but also about politics, family and friendships❣️
2024 and still watching I watched Jang Ok Jung 2013 drama as well, but it portraits dong yi as the villain n comparing this with that this is the best. Though dong yi is the lead here, drama shows ok jung n king love, ok jung was a good person how circumstances n ppl around her made her evil. King loved ok jung, even after giving his heart to suk bin king never forget ok jung, he respected her as his son's monther. Same with Queen Inheyon, she was like king's best friend. King respected her with love. Though the centre of this drama is dong yi, this never made any hate to any of the characters, unlike jang ok jung drama. Dong yi drama had everything love, parenting, friendships, politics, hate, jelousy, power. Not just a love story but a complete story covering all aspects of life.
I finished watching Dong Yi a week ago and loved every moment of it. It was this drama and the 'Red Sleeve' that has me learn about Korea, history, culture and the language.
The best KDrama of all times 2023 still watching it and my heart is always filled with warmth watching this drama well done to the writer ,creator,and actors
