A boa constrictor swallowing a baby goat... I love your sense of humor!! I laughed at that!! Love the randomness. I also love the demonstrations you give while explaining something. Makes it easier for those that learn better with visuals. Thank you so much!
SO MANY THANKS Helen!!!!! Out of all the keystone tutorials yours is by far the most BEST!!!! You by far showed us everything understand & recreate our own! I’m going to get started on that boa & baby goat!!
Just started learning about making mosaics, and I know I will gravitate towards swirly lines. This keystone technique will definitely come in handy. Thank you for the simple explanation!
Thank you Helen ! I struggle to create keystones from 1x1cm glass tesserae. Would you advise even trying at all ? Thank you for all of these useful tutorials ! 🙏
Actually, cutting keystones from 1cm glass is hard for everyone. I tend to cut my squares into rectangles and then cut the keystone from the rectangle when I am using glass. Hope that helps!
@@HelenMilesMosaics Thank you for your reply ! ☀ I just received new glass tesserae, 2x2cm : pretty sure it will be easier, following your suggestions. Thank you ! 🙏🌸
I get them from Mosaic Workshop or Mosaic Heaven in the UK. www.mosaicworkshop.com/ www.mosaicheaven.com/?gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw3JanBhCPARIsAJpXTx4yjmf32GFVlv1YARRTbwmmQ1Y8brh9CEsltvllbTgXmKnEW1C232oaAu39EALw_wcB

Excellent tutorial. Can see why the keystone helps the consistency and uniformity of the intended design. Very helpful.
