- This episode I head on a solo mission in pursuit of the mighty mulloway.
I spend 10 hrs on the water landing a few good fish and I'm super stoked to be landing these beautiful fish again.
I also share some info on what tides, moon and times are working for this session so sit back and enjoy some beautiful jewfish hitting the deck.
Im going to be doing a lot more fishing for jew in hopes to crack the code on catching these elusive fish so make sure you subscribe to get all the info you need to catch them yourself.

I liked the video.I'm also a fisho and a Newy boy and also watch big Dave from Aussfish.I fish mostly the rocks and beach.Just a tip on the wraps. Bring some foil next time and lay your wrap half on and half off the square piece of foil and the top of the wrap either level with the top of the foil or a little bit hanging over.You want about 2 or 3 inches of foil on the bottom. Now pile on your filling as much as you want then roll it up.Roll it tight once or one and a half times fold the bottom 3 inches of foil over and then continue rolling.The foil holds everything in.As you eat it just peel the foil away as you eat.You can even make them before hand like this saving you making them on the boat.You'll get the hang of making them with the foil after a few go's.Cheers."Lets get some"😃✌️🐟

Cheers for the sub mate glad to have you on board. Big Jewfish take many many fishing trips to get that big one but I still love catching them at all sizes. I hope to spend a bit of time chasing them on the hawkesbury this year I know there are some big ones getting around that system
@@slappintails Rumour has it that if you scout the river for the deep channels a few days before the full moon and get yourself familiar with the river, then go back to those locations a few days later set up on the slack then drift with the incoming, you might do okay 😊👍

Hey mate, I have done a vid on the live bait tank I just haven’t released it yet but I will in the coming few weeks I’d say cause I’ve had a heap of people ask about it. I made it myself and it would hold 20 yakkas easily. Pretty stoked with how it came up.

It depends on how fast the tide is running, if it’s running fast I pin in the nose so it’s head is swimming into the current and he doesn’t die getting pulled backwards if I pin in the tail

It’s a 60L tank but the output whole is at the 50L mark so I reckon I’d be about to get about 20 livies in there pretty easily. It’s perfect for Jew fishing all night 👌🏼👌🏼

The sinker seems so big for the live bait , doesn’t it just sink them to the bottom ?
Yeah the Jewfish school up around the bottoms of the piers, they will sometimes be a little higher In the water Column but mainly they sit in big deep holes ✌🏼
Little tip turn your yakka around so head facing forward on Snell rig live will last longer.like your video bubby.

@@slappintails The big fellas are firing in the Hawkesbury right now and my mate released a 20 kilo jew in the Shoalhaven near Nowra last new moon. The further south you go, the bigger they get.
20kgs is a cracking fish, I might have to come to the hawkesbury and chase a few of them for an episode
