@@ZitaWupWarframe whats infuriating about it is that its not even what makes him strong, the armorstrip and the 1 are much more balance problematic abilities in the long run, especially that now most ppl will helminth over the 4 and instead of a high range caster we will play him as weapon platform with armor strip

Gotta say, going around on reddit and youtube comments and seeing people whine that Styanax is useless Helminth fodder now is equal parts hilarious and incredibly sad. Like, yeah, It's a shame that you can't chain cast in the air anymore, it was cool, but it was nowhere near being the core pillar keeping him relevant, he's just as capable as he was before

No, his Rally Point is in desperate need of improvement, he takes all aggro and has no DR/ evasion? His 1 is pathetic, his 2 is better on other frames, and his 4 is marginally better than Revenant. He needs s on his 4, some sort of DR on his 3 to actually tank the aggro since in SP, your shield gen is literally paper machete. Like, nothing puts him a cut above average. His 3 is very good, if it had some sort of survivable feature other than shields that get 1 shot through. Mirage has better survival through shieldgating alone.
