Ireland It's beautiful love love 😮 Can't wait to visit in a few months ❤
The little orange fruit on top of the cheesecake is called Physalis or Cape Gooseberry. Nice and tart and prepares your taste buds for the sweet treat to follow. I'm Irish and glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us!
Fallons is unbelievable!!!
As a Dubliner who lived in The Liberties, I really loved your video! You did really well in your choices, particularly Gallagher's Boxty House and Queen of Tarts. (Next time try Elephant and Castle for burgers/chicken and Leo Burdocks, (take away only) for fish and chips. Also great to see Fallon's Pub featured at the end, an absolutely typical 'Old School' Dublin pub frequented in the main by real Dubliners, and Much Cheaper then 'Temple Bar Area' prices. xx SF
Sitting in fallon's eating a bag of tayto's with me Da. What a childhood memory, can still smell it.
Looked enjoyable. Can't wait to visit in a few months. Thanks for sharing!🎉
I'm starving watching this, I miss dublin for the high quality food, someday I'll be back 😢
We had so many amazing meals in Dublin! Such an awesome city!
Wow that stew sampler is insane so much food
That’s a cape gooseberry on top of your Baileys cheesecake. Lovely flavour .
I like your channel 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Guys, have come across your channel over the past few day’s. Madalyn love the natural urge to eat fish n chips straight up, as I’m sure anyone would ❤ and Adam love your food choices off the different menus. Craziest thing I’m vegan. I’ve viewed several of your videos, you both come across as very warm likeable characters who really have a passion for trying all different types of food.
So many choices in Dublin to go eat quality food. One Society Cafe for tasty casual dining, The Winding Stair restaurant which is pricey but worth it. Mr S or F.X Buckleys for a steak dinner and interesting starter selections and numerous other restaurants to try.
Madalym ,and Adam, great video you are both made for presenting videos having the natural flair for it👍👍
One thing, I would say Ireland has its own coastline and isn't part of the British Isles. We are both neighbours .
Having only recently, coming across your channel I am a subscriber
Absolutely loved watching this video of Irish people experiencing the wonders of Indian cuisine for the very first time. The genuine reactions and expressions of surprise, delight, and curiosity. If you wanna try more Indian food then you can also visit Indian Vibe restaurant in Navan, Ireland.
Would love to see more of wall menus please. Planning my Ireland trip for next year. Happy to found your videos! Thanks from south of Seattle WA.
Will do!
I'm gonna recommend 2 tours if you're in Dublin in 2024 1. Kilmainham gaol 2. Glasnevin cemetery and go for a Guinness in the gravediggers when you're at the cemetery
Beef stew is a home comfort food in winter. Gallagher's Boxty is a good choice to try some selections of traditional dishes.
Great video
Loved this video. I’m going to Ireland in August and looking forward to trying the food! My phone camera made lines like that in the sun when we were in Hawaii recently. I didn’t realize until later that there was a crack on my phone/camera protector. That may be what caused it.
No crack just a weird sun flare! Enjoy your trip!
That fish and chips could feed three people! Lol
Probably!
Is it black pudding or white? Coddle is a dublin dish of ham, pork sausage, potatoe, veg or chicken stock, onion, celery, carrot and parsley. Pudding is not usually in it but I think white pudding would be better than black in coddle if you wanted to add that.
Food looks great! Green curry is a Thai curry as opposed to an Indian/British curry
You’re probably right but that’s what they had!
Beetroot isn't sweetened.. that's the natural flavour unpickled... Just boil it peel it eat it.. sweet and delicious..
You don't have to put white and black pudding in the coddle.Basically it was the dish of the poor in dublin and therefore they put in whatever they had into it and left out what they didn't.
Awesome thanks for sharing!
Hi are you interested in part-time job?
Little library in college 😅😅😅😅😅😅 it's one of they biggest in they world 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love your review I'm irish no way would I eat boxy 😢
I lived 9 years in Istanbul, and that beetroot dish has absolutely zero to do with a Turkish breakfast 😂😂😂
It has far less to do with an Irish one!
Most Irish folk would avoid the temple bar area because it's twice as expensive as areas 200yards In any direction.
That was a cape gooseberry not persimmon
Ok!
Ireland is not the "British isles". It's something to avoid saying in Ireland. But in any case that term is no longer accepted officially since 1998.
Ireland, geographically is part of the British Isles !
“Officially” is meaningless, only usage counts, and not just in Ireland.
As I've said before, that term used in relation to Ireland is not a geographical term, it is a colonial term that never was accepted in Ireland. The British simply pretend it is somehow compelling, which is ridiculousl.@@trevaudio
Since when is "officially" meaningless? The only usage of the colonial, term British isles, is in the British media and educational output. This derives from the official British government position of not recognising Irish independence in their own law, ie. the Ireland Act 1949. It also derives from our unfinished revolution to remove British rule from the six-counties in the north of Ireland. Your usage is yours, it is not ours and we are the ones to call our country by the name we choose including its political and geographical references.@@williambabe3032
As an Irish person I don’t like most of these foods 😂🤣 so don’t worry if you don’t like these foods we have lots of food you would be used to, that’s what majority Irish people eat
No coddle.. traditional Dublin dish
Fish and chips and no malt vinegar? EEEEKKKK!!
Traditional Irish food? Interesting…
Coddle ! everything else isnt dub grub !!
You literally went to the places Dublin people avoid
Cool, link us your video for next time
I love the content you guys put out, but please, take a step back from the camera- your whole head doesn't need to encompass every frame. Some shots are almost nausea-inducing because of how close you are
Sorry I can't subscribe because you have never been to England, watch some fellow American UA-camrs visiting England,
I am confused , you go to Ireland and pretty much everything you have eaten in this video is NOT Irish ..dont get me wrong the food looked awesome .. but Irish it aint
It's not soda bread , that was wheaten bread.
A soad bread , is actually called soda farl , it's about an inch or just over thick , white and shaped like a triangle , if you go up to Northern Ireland , you'll get soad bread and better stew .
Stews a bit watery ., It looks more like a casserole .
You might be right!
It IS soda bread. Soda bread is baked and can be any shape, soda farls are triangle and cooked on a skillet.
I thought stew is an Irish dish not a british thing
@@doniehurley7634 Stew is universal. Every country in the world eats it.
Peppers, onions!!..that's not a traditional breakfast bap, gentrified hipster bap!!!
The only way to have black pudding is on a breaky bap with all of the othe essentials 😅
Metro Cafe has one of the nicest breaky baps in the centre.
Irish food is no good
I live in Ireland since 7 years and i must say, food is VERY VERY bad. But what do you expect from people eating fish and chips ( big, fat, disgusting chips ).... (i wouldn't give that to my dog)
@@dessiemcmurphy like the food in that video.....lol
What country do you come from ?
So move home then
@@patricia1750 yeah, in January !!! can't wait.
