Excellent! Thank you for sharing this. This is just one more thing I can learn for work. I work at Michael's. The more I learn the better chance of a promotion!!!!
My daughter and I just made these. We did them with crochet thread and did one with yarn. The yarn one ends up looking almost like sticks. The problem we had were all the glue flakes. Anyone have suggestions as to why we had so many flakes?
How come yours don't look as messy as others. Do you thin the glue til its quite watery? I notice after you take out the balloon there is no residue of excess glue between the string. Its a very clean finish..
Do you know how long the string ball will last, does it collapse after a while???? I want to make these for a party 3 weeks out from now, is it to soon to make them???? Thank u in advance!!! Ps. Great video!!!!
I am not a balloon expert, so forgive my misuse of terminology here, but if anyone is having trouble blowing up their balloons spherically a trick I found was to pinch the balloon very far down on its stem, and try to force air into where you imagine the top of the sphere to be as you blow. I ended up getting my balloons a lot rounder this way rather than sausage shapes or weird distorted teardrops..
Making some of these for sure for the tree this year. Thank you for doing such a great job and sharing this! What is the music- it was lovely as well. Thank you again!
+Asra Ismail Yes, use twine. And if you don't want it to stick, do what she did and use a marker, popsicle stick, or your finger to press the balloon in and away from the twine when it's dry so that it separates. THEN pop the balloon. =)
I used yarn and glitter glue and the balloons did not stick. However, it took a lot of glue. This time I will use the diluted white glue and sprinkle with a bit of glitter while wet.

I just love the idea of these ornaments!
It's just great!!!
it is soo good with the light my daughter Praneesha is doing it this Christmas and i hope it comes well.
I
It's actually a lot less messy if you wrap the ball on with dry string and then brush the mod podge over it and let it dry before popping the balloon
Those are beautiful.
If you put some glitter on the glue and continue it will be so nice. with the light inside, it will be so perfect . I think so :)
Cindy Thomson have u tried?
Thats a really good idea! You could use glitter glue!
There Beautiful great job! Can you please tell how much water used and glue and how long I live them hanging or days? Please let me know thanks 🙏

This video was done in such an amazing way!! It was perfect! Thank you :)
Mine is soft in a few parts and I'm afraid it won't keep its shape. What can I do to harden it? I used several coats of mod podge and then with glue
