Look yummy to store in the pantry for Autumn/winter. Yes please for plum jam recipe ❤ I use the same funnel when making jams & chutneys too. Your family are very lucky to have you! You are super organised & make delicious food ❤ much love from the Scottish Highlands 💙
I've not seen someone opening plums crossways like that. I have loads of Victoria plums right now but many of them have a moth in them (I don't spray with pesticide), so they are not great for eating straight off the tree, even though the fruit is great once cleaned. I have made tons of jam over the last two years, so this was a great video on using some of them up this year. Your Bramley was massive!
Thank you for the tip about sparkling water and apple. I have never heard of that trick before! I will definitely be trying it when I do not have lemon on hand.
Thankyou for the Chutney recipe Charlie, I have abundance of tomatoes so I will use your recipe for my Chutney . I have never made chutney before wish me luck.
Would you mind sharing if you know of a good way of cleaning the inside of teapots, teacups, coffee pots and coffee cups? Nothing that I have tried works, except having a little spray bottle with bleach water by the sink and applying a light spray of it inside each item. Letting it work for a few minutes, then scrubbing and placing in dishwasher. Anything else leaves disgusting brown marks inside the china. Do you have a quick and easy solution? I would have liked something more eco friendly.
I love homemade chutney and this recipe looks delicious 👏yes please to plum jam!
I would love a recipe for plum jam😊. You have inspired me to have a go at your spiced chutney recipe😊. Thank you.
