It's been my experience that kittens are insane little creatures that will do literally anything! That's what makes having them so much fun. Being good mousers and hunters runs in the female gene because they're the ones that would have to provide food for their kittens and teach them how to hunt. Raising up their food and water dishes also prevents them from eating and then just throwing up minutes later which many cats do. Loved Pete's cat climbing contraption and I know the kittens will too. How typical...you buy them all these lovely things and they want to play with the boxes! They're adorable!
The ‘kittens in the sofa bed’ part was so ridiculously relatable 😂 we have two sisters and one disappeared, then the other, we hunted, heard a scratching sound and then a paw emerged… we set up a blanket and box barricade after that 😅
So darn cute!!! I have 2 brothers, Jack and Cooper (rescues). I read that cats prefer running water to still water so I got them a kitty fountain and they love it! They play in it and drink from it.
All together I have adopted 8 cats in the last 14 years and two females have had 4 kittens each and now I have 3 cats a mother and daughter and one of the kittens from the last mother I had. My cats are a 9-year-old called Tilly and a 8-year old called Lilly and last but not least I have a 4-year old call Felix. I can't live without cats around me as I live on my own as it can gets very lonely. It's so nice to know that you have adopted 2 precious kittens that were unwanted but now I have got a loving home with you.
So enjoyed and loved it! Reminded me of when I was young and my husband & I before we got married with our first cat, "Q". "Q" was also a shorthaired tabby. Hubby did make a scratching post, alas he refused to use it! Again, brought back happy memories. "Q" lived to the ripe old age of 18. He was always the boss and put us and our past woofers in our places. Enjoy and look forward to more videos of them.

Adopting a pair of sister kittens a few years ago was the best decision my partner and I made. Ours were kept in a small cage outside together until 6 months old, thankfully they were surrendered and eventually made their way to us. They bring us so much daily joy. Being in Australia, we keep them 100% indoors. Look forward to many years of 2am zoomies!

That is so awesome! As a volunteer for a cat rescue, it's always heartwarming to see these happy endings where the cats/kittens have overcome so much and ended up with the purr-fect forever family! Congratulations on your new fur kids! I know it's meant to be a dwarfish name, but kind of adorable for a horse breeder and eventer to have a female kitten named Fili (Filly!). 😍

LOVE this. They’re so cute! Fair warning hand raised kittens can be totally different to other kittens you’ve had. They like drinking tea, and out of water glasses 😂 They’re adorable!! One tip having had rescue/hand reared kittens, teach them to use their scratching posts, before your sofa and walls are attacked. You & Pete are going to have so much fun with them! You can actually teach them how to fetch too! They’ve found themselves the perfect home ❤
Absolutely agree - a scratching post they can climb to the top of & you can move next to where they scratch is great. I’ve got an Ultimate from SmartCat & it’s well worth it.
Yay kittens! We have a cat wall too and my three LOVE it! They’re so cute when they’re kittens, although I did need new curtains afterwards! Mine are 14 and 6 now and so loved. I’m so tempted by kittens but the boys are too old now to cope with any small fuzzy hooligans so I shall live vicariously through Fili and Thorin!

You guys need to do some reading about Bengals because if they're not full blooded they are definitely part and you're in for a wild ride. They look identical to my Bengal when he was a kitten (rescued when he was only 4 weeks old and is now almost 14). Have fun with them. They are absolutely adorable
Hi Theresa 🙋♀️ Its really interesting that you've mentioned Bengals because when these two little beauties came out of the carrier, I also was, initially struck by their amazing markings and the breed, Bengal, definitely sprung to my mind! 🤗 I agree with you....I suspect this double trouble duo 😂, has , somewhere along the line, a connection with a pure Bengal mum or dad. I don't think they're full pedigree but their gorgeous, uniform coats and especially the way in which the little girl is so intense when she plays, for me, definitely ticks all the boxes for the breed. Just maybe, Bengal Mum, fell in love with a wild BadBoyTomCat and that was why her poor babies were dumped, because they wouldn't sell for any money for her human guardians 🤔💁♀️ Regardless of the back story.....these two babies are going to have THE best life! 😁 I absolutely LOVE Pete's cat tree corner! X
Lord of the Rings cat names seem to be popular! We had a well-loved Pippin for many years. It’s amazing how two kittens are much more entertaining than just one. I love the reticulated tabby cat patterns of their coats. And their big bat ears. Agreed, female cats run rings around male cats in terms of hunting instincts. My female cat caught a chipmunk in the yard when she was old and sick. In comparison, my young male cats would take notice of a mouse in the house and kindly point it out to me, but I had to be the one to catch the mouse. Thank you for sharing these adorable new additions to your home. You are going to have so much fun with them. Pete, you did such a good job on the cat wall. They’re going to really love that climbing pole.

Tips on cat language 1. Blink your eyes twice to say hi and when they blink back things are all good and cats want attention. 2. If they stay wide open it means stay away. Best things I can share. 3. They don’t like their water bowls close to their food bowls. Aside from that the “cat tree” LOOKS AMAZING!! It’s all about the effort! They are so cute and so sweet. Congratulations!
Awww this is so cute. I just resently got kittens of my own. Both are from my barn from a litter of 5. I brought 2 one is black and the other is medium haired grey. The black is female named Wednesday and the grey is male named Pugsley. I know you have had cat before bit it's so true that they grow up so fast before you know it they will be spilling off the cat tree when they sit on there together. Also the way you described there personality is so accurate. Wednesday is a killer with the toys loves to cuddle but has to be on her own term. And pugsley is more idc attitude and will let you do what ever with him. Hes a cuddler and very talkative also extremely food motivated but that does not make it easier to train him lol. Wednesday is definitely more well mannered. Bit I got them at 5 weeks old and feral and now the are 4 months old and I'm absolutely in love with them. And they definitely get into everything. Good luck with your little ones I love the names too❤

congrats on becoming a cat mum and dad im really glad you got rescues and their story was so sad but glad they are with you now , I have 2 myself one was a stray found at 5 months old very skinny, and the other was a hoarding situation and he only has on eye because none of the cats were doctored so all the Toms were fighting and he got his eye scratched and it got infected but he has adapted well to it and is 10 Yrs old now the other is 8 but has a habit of eating his food really fast as he thinks he's not going to get fed again. but the point is rescues are ace ! :)🐈⬛🐈
I got two kittens and they where twin sisters one of them ate poison across the rode and died at only 9 mounths old she’s missed with my whole heart but the other one still stands and is doing well without her sister ❤❤
