You guys have been asking for this for some time now, so we finally gave in. In this video Han jumps Dora bean, but it's not just any jumping session. Han does her first bounce, first grid and jumps the biggest she has ever jumped!! You won't want to miss it!

i always do this - "weight into the inside stirrup" "outside leg, outside leg" and the main one sit back sit back sit deep.
yeah, I love it too, makes me feel better about the fact that I do the same thing except there's usually a lot more swearing when I'm riding 🤦♀
I always like to tell myself what my trainer tells me

Please can we see more of Han. She did amazing, I love her soft hands and seat. She’s a lovely rider. I had no idea Dora was so whizzy 😅😂 would love to see Han riding the other ponies too ❤

@@lucyreilly9734 that's been megs plan for a long time but she hasn't found the perfect home yet. Might be good for both of them to gain experience, then Dora would be more ready to be a kids pony!

I'd love to see Han riding Dora again and working up to eventing her. It would be awesome if Han was to buy Dora
It's so refreshing to have people admit what they are comfortable with, for the longest time when I used to have lessons I felt too awkward to say no to anything or admit when I wasn't happy. And thus got pressured into jumping over 4ft at times by various instructors, usually after telling them I just wanted to focus on dressage! Very rarely would they let me have a dressage lesson without forcing a jump up at the end. Happy riders = happy horses. Love Megs instruction and Hans riding, well done guys (:

The teamwork between Meghan, Han and Dora is amazing. Han did so well, despite her fears. She approached the jumps with courage and determination. I love how Meghan combines instruction, correction, encouragement and positive reinforcement. She’s the kind of riding coach I would have loved. Great video!
Han fits Dora beautifully. They make a lovely pair. Great for Meg to work on her riding instructor skills as well.

Dear Meg, please let Han and Dora Bean be team mates. They are the perfect match. You could do a novice rider novice horse series from start to 80T . Meg get your sponsors involved . Could do a series right from choosing a pony, to kit, to training on an off horse, to how to register with BE, and what to do on the day, how to use a stopwatch etc. would be fab

What a great video, Hannah rides really well and lovely to see Dora's confidence in her, (despite her listing her short comings, Dora was telling a different story.) Hope the aches subside soon Meg, and hope Jam has recovered well too.

I didn't expect it but I think Dora is a really good horse to learn on! She isn't easy but not lazy or anything like that. Like she got really keen in the video, she really wants to go over the jumps but if the rider doesn't support her correctly she will make small mistakes (but no big accidents either). So the rider can really review their riding through what Dora is doing, absolutely lovely!
Great job you all!! Han needs to know that it is all relative and someone’s 70 is someone else’s 140!! It is a sport that has so many variables and each horse is an individual and different with each rider!! Anyone who gets out there and gives it a go (even if going over poles) is fabulous!!

I think Han did amazingly. I love watching other people ride your ponies it just shows how easy you make it look. When you jump her she doesn’t look like she pulls you into the jump or is overly strong. I remember Tina when she jumped Dee and when your poor mum jumped her too!!

Ham talking to herself is literally the inside of my brain whenever I’m riding my pony 😭 and then Meg sneakily putting up the fence is like my dad, like one time he put it up after every time I jumped it and I started at a metre and finished at 1.20😭

I am so sorry that the fall you had has left you sore Meg, but I have to say Han did a wonderful job with Dora, she looked like she was going a little fast a couple of times, but Dora jumped beautifully, what a talented little girl she is. Brilliant.... Dora obviously loves her jumping which in turn helps her rider, so well done, position was great too Han. Nice soft hands too. 👏👏 I have a TB, 11 yrs together now, but I have lost all my confidence to jump, though he loves it, always very eager when he sees them up in the school. Even though I'm 73 now, still fit and riding out 3/4 times a week, but I am determined I WILL jump him again after watching this, so thanks 😂

I just started riding a few months ago and my best friend has been so supportive and helpful, you two remind me of us. I love how positive you are with her, you truly are making her and her horse feel so much more comfortable. The horse community needs more people like you ❤️
