These acoustic lessons you’ve been putting out have really inspired me to pick up my acoustic again. I normally play electric, but love both.

Great to hear! I feel that it brings a whole different outlook on how groovy an acoustic can really be.

Scott you’re one of my favourite teachers on UA-cam. Loved your content for years!! Where can I watch your warm vs bright tone/ maple vs rosewood video? That one’s a classic 😂😂

I remember that one, it has lost its place in history...I'm sure you will love this one that is on the same subject: ua-cam.com/video/7D4ibVSBx5E/v-deo.html

That great one is history for some reason, but I'm sure you will dig this one which is on the same subject. ua-cam.com/video/7D4ibVSBx5E/v-deo.html

Kripes man! You scared the snot out of me when you said "I'm gonna show you..." Whew!!
    Have brolington how are ya!?
Ever considered posting lessons for specific songs requested by subs?
If you're willing and have the time, I would submit - "Only Women Bleed" (because they can't keep their soup sippers shut) OH! BOOM!
Poor attempt at humor aside, it would be cool to take subs requests and post a lesson.
    Just a thought.
Bro, I sold my Casino and my Seagull Maritime to buy a new, very limited run of ;Epiphone Excellente'
    Which was $2,000 Canadian!!!
It is an extremely awesome acoustic, and after 6 months every string was buzzing up and down the neck to degrees, some was barely noticeable other were in your face! I tried adjusting the truss rod, with no improvement, and so seeing it has a limited lifetime warranty, I took it to the local music shop where I bought it and they tried to fix it also.
When I went in to pick it up they told me how perplexed they were because they also tried to adjust the truss rod with zero effect, and so they replaced the saddle with a higher one and although it did fix the buzzing, the saddle was too high and they had to set it at maximum relief which caused a huge bow and high action up the neck, just complete garbage and I was not at all amused with their "luthier"
When I showed it to John, his family owns and runs the business and I've been a loyal patron for over 30 years and have bought numerous guitars and accessories, and he was even more pissed off than I was because he knew that was 100% unacceptable.
I have no clue how a "pro luthier" thought that was acceptable especially on a $2,000 guitar! Full relief with no possibility to make any adjustments because the second the truss is tightened the buzzing returns.
John called the Epiphone dealer who told John to send him the guitar so their luthiers can look at it.
I'm 95% certain it's not repairable and I'm thinking the bracing must have come loose, other than that I cannot understand it!
When I called John to see if he could get me one, he got back a week later and told me the dealer said if he had have called a minute later he wouldn't have got it as there was just one left unsold and only 30 total were coming to Canada!
So, it's a rare, limited run which pretty much guaranteed it will grow in value over the years as they are more and more difficult to get. I see lots of fakes on E-Bay and people are paying $2,000 or more plus shipping for a Chinese copy!!
I'm guessing they'll have to give me a refund because with just 30 coming to Canada and I got the last one, I seriously doubt they'll be able to replace it with a new one.
So, I regret selling the Seagull Maritime, that was an awesome axe, but I was just jonesing for the Excellente!! I loved my Casino as well being a huge Beatles fan, but realistically I'm not planning on doing live performances anymore, I much prefer unplugged with another acoustic, violin and cello.
So, I did love the Casino, but don't miss it like I do the Seagull!
I bought a cheap ass 12 string "Beaver" ya, I know!! And it was ok, but not great! So, I know a guy who travels to Cuba every summer and has done so over twenty years.
He met a Cuban musician who was a house band at a casino resort but they get treated like human garbage and are paid the equivalent of TEN LOUSY BUCKS per show!!
So, he noticed this Cuban dude 's guitar was a real hunk of crap and I sold him the Beaver for less than I paid for it so he can give it to this Cuban dude.
I got the 12 string bug so, if they refund the money I'm gonna buy a used Epiphone Masterbuilt 12 string Hummingbird and either another used Seagull or Epiphone Masterbuilt" J 45 or maybe an Epiphone Masterbuilt J200.
If I can get any of those three axes used in great condition I'll gladly take any of them!
I know you're not an Epiphone fan and by the way HOW DARE YOU!! But their masterbuilt and inspired by Gibson guitars are either as good or better than their counterpart Gibsons.
I've played them all and so I believe this to be accurate, but after going on YouBoob watching a bunch of reviews every single one said the same - they're either equal or better than their Gibson mother!
Anyway I've rambled, carried on and acted the fool long enough mister!!
    And again, HOW DARE YOU!!
You damned kids with your transistor radios, Hula Hoops, Frisbees and pogo sticks!!! "(
TAKE CARE SCOTTY DOO MY BROTHER!! SAY HELLO TO THE LITTLE LADY FROM ME AND MY OLD HAG...ER I MEAN LADY...CRAP...SHE'S STANDING RIGHT BEHIND ME ISN'T SHE?
Goodbye cruel world sniff...sniff...sniff.. SPLASH! FLUSHHHHHHH gurgle gurgle - The...sweet...release...of death......
