Hey ! I've been there on a business trip to Nashville .. The only bargain available to most who visit the "museum" is the over-priced parking Space .. But, you could always double-up your monetary loss by buying a Tee Shirt, probably not made in the USA, and for too much money as well !
Ive been to the Iowa store.even took some things I've seen them by. For big bucks along to see if I could make a deal.but no one was there to show the stuff to,had a light from a tug boat ,red that sat along side the piolet house.I have seen them big bucks for.even has the name of the tug boat it came from.took a old traffic light I know they would have bought for sure!!!but had to drag it back home,on the way over there, the first time I tried to make the trip.I ended up in the hospital, gallbladder, got so sick I pulled over to puke in the ditch, and the police came along and found me,called rescue, and away I went to the hospital. For a few weeks.
Picked up your channel from the channel you left a comment on a few minutes ago. You were correct in my opinion. That channel is borderline misinformation. Now that misinformation is a federal offense anyway.
@@retireInspired I would be happy to see him do better on eBay but he's stuck on a rut of thinking his products are worth more than people are willing to pay and he has repeatedly said he wishes that everyone would raise their prices instead of being scared of not getting the sale. Well economics doesn't work that way.
Prices are a bit on the high side...but there was a few reasonably priced items. I didn't see any "screaming" deals..but pretty much standard retail prices...
I think its pretty obvious to anyone who has ever been in the antique business as a dealer, collector or other wise. This is a tourist trap. The show was always staged and the items that they generally bought were for the most part mediocre at best.
You are correct sir. It is a total tourist trap and I loved every 2nd of it. It was so cool seeing the items that I've seen on the show many times right there in the store!

Glad you liked this video.
Looks like an awesome place!! Great video and happy for the views for you!! Nice feeling I bet!!
Thanks, Chris. Hope you are doing well.
@@retireInspired I am hanging in there for sure!!
Wow what a setup they got. I had no idea but I like it. Looks very good
It’s like visiting a museum. Loved seeing some things that were on the show.
They have antiques there no doubt. Most antique stores nowadays are just full of hobby lobby stuff and flea market finds
I agree. It was fun to see their items, but the ones that were for sale were priced out of my range.
Interesting idea to do a video there. Clearly a tourist trap.
Maybe so. Seemed more like a museum.
Looks like a good place to visit, and dont forget your check book
You’re absolutely correct.
Looks like a museum
It was like a museum. Nothing was affordable.
Very interesting. Thanks
Thanks!
Definitely interesting but is the stuff for sale or just a look at what we have kinda deals
It is a retail store.
It’s like a half museum and a trinket retail store.
My friends still have video from the 1990s of RAVES that were held in that building.
Can you get them to send me the video?

LOOKS LIKE A MUSEUM, RATHER THAN A PLACE TO BUY THINGS..
It is like a museum. I didn’t buy any of their chachkies.
That Indian motorcycle was not the Bonnie and Clyde show! That was the little girl named Randy who rode when she was 4.
You are correct. Are you Bonnie from the Bonnie & Clyde episode?

I wish some of the items for sale were reasonably priced.
Me too!
Great
I was born in Nashville and live not far east and have never been back to see the American picker building
It looks like it has been refurbished.
How cool
Thanks for the comment.
never seen their store out of the show did see the other tv show
You should go see it sometime.
Interesting.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Yes, they don’t seem interested in buying stuff at the store. They only buy when the camera is running.
What did the vomit look like , and did it cause heartburn ? Tell the whole story or stfu .
How do you pick a retail store?
It’s part retail store and part museum.
Just how you pick your butt , you don't really get anything but comfort.

I agree.
Storage space.
Take lots of money ,
Yed
they have like a thousand percent mark up on things. big rip off to me
Yes. But very few of their picked items are for sale.
We have a antique store in bellevue kentucky better than american picker store
I would love to visit your store.
Everyone has there own opinions about the store
I agree.
Are those guys lovers
Not sue who you are asking about.

I actually didn’t buy anything.
Except the temporary parking spot.
Video would be a little better if you slowed down and told some more prices.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll keep that in mind for future videos.
Where's frank
I don’t think he is on the show anymore.
Think Frank suffered a stroke. He was my guy on the show miss him and hope he's doing better.
You need to speak up! I couldn't hear you most of the time.
Okay. Thanks for the feedback.
Low ball central
What do you mean by low ball? The prices were kinda high.

The picker place is a scam, the only thing you can afford is a t shirt . The other shops are great .
Even the shirts and ball caps were over priced.
Very disappointed with that store.
I wasn’t terribly disappointed, but I do wish their items that were for sale were more reasonably priced.
Over priced TOURIST TRAP !!!
I agree, but it was fun to look.
Thanks for the tour, now I have exactly zero interest in stopping in .
