Managed to get one for £600 at GAK in the UK last year, such an under-appreciated guitar when u compare it to some of fenders other models for even double the price
I had one of these for a brief moment, swapped it for a 2003 swampash les paul....I couldn't say no....but honestly the tele is a better guitar and I'm just waiting to find another at a nice price. Really solid review, very in depth and thorough
I got one of these on clearance and posted a video review on my channel too. Def check that out if you care to. Glad to see I’m not the only one who has discovered these! Truly a hidden gem and steal at the prices these are being sold for now. Just like you, they weren’t on my radar at $1200 but the current prices caught my attention. Mind if I ask what yours cost and where it was from? Lowest price I’ve seen so far is $755 at Guitar Center. Agree on the gig bag being paper thin. I like that the neck is a little beefier than the typical Fender C neck on the player series. I may try the locking tuners you mentioned. Also do you know if these are made in Fujigen?
I’ll look for your video! The deal I got was thru an affiliate deal that I have so it was considerably less than normal (few hundred less than you) but that’s not a “normal” deal, and out of stock anyway. Seems like GC is the only place that still has several in stock. Not sure where these are made…I kind of assumed it was Fujigen but don’t know for sure.
@@EJBGuitar Thanks! Let me know if you have any issues finding it. It’s the third most recent video on my channel. Also posted some shorts playing it. I really dig the hard rock tones out of this guitar. You’re absolutely right these are awesome for hard rock and the 80s stuff. Oh nice! Thanks for clarifying on the price. I got mine for the $755 which already feels like a steal. If you had a means to get it for a couple hundred less it’s def a no brainer haha. And I see yeah, I assumed Fugijen but wasn’t sure. Wherever it was made the quality is for sure there.

An arm contour and this would be perfect
Nice stuff, I’ll support the channel SuBD’ ✌️
Thanks - appreciate it!

Thanks. I probably would’ve done that deal too if I’m being honest! 😂 But yeah the Tele is definitely good.

Very nice Demo video and thanks for not showing how fast you can play. You just show what the Guitar can do. I'll be back.
Thank you - appreciate it!
Is it smaller than the vintage tele?
Not that I can tell. No smaller than the other Teles I currently have or have had.
@@EJBGuitar I have a vintage tele and it is very heavy and I think maybe the modern version will lighter😂
@@Brucewyne-jh8ff They seem to vary in weight, so if you can sort by weight or test-play before buying would be the best thing.
