there is a lot in that bag lol. myself id have a spare set of clothes instead of just socks, etc. I'd have a little shorter knife and maybe carry a hatchet or machete. in a pinch that ration bars and food would last you more than 2 days if you ration it well. there is a lot in that bag, but I'm also a firm believer in not getting caught with your pants down as well!
interesting design, some good things but lots of basics missing if I remember correctly, no firestarting materials and tools, no axe, no containers, no cookingdevices, and so on. WHat is the coconutoil for? Thanks for sharing
oh PS - just saw the other bag, and that is absolutely excellent!!! I can imagien the two of tehse together solve any problem and provide you with al you need. Excellent work!!! Thanks Mark Setzer for referring to that extra video!
there's way to much stuff in that bag. get a bigger bag. what if you're out and you come across something where are you going to put it. plus if you a camped and something happens how are you going to be able to quickly get the things that you have out of your bag back in if you have to play Tetris to get it back in.
Replace as much of the military gear as you can, it draws unwanted attention, especially the bag. Don't keep your gas mask like that. More toiletries ie tooth brush, com, mouth wash, eye drops, soaps. You don't have any water on you. The question is what is your bags duty, what do you plan on doing with it? Do you have a bug out sight? Or do you think you can bug out to a wooded area and live off the land? You have a lot of stuff, no organization and I think you half assed most of it. My advice is to step back relook at what your objective is and recalibrate. Your bag needs a lot of work.
you need a BIGGER BAG. You have a nice amount of stuff you need except for two more ways of water filtration and battery charging. at least a water straw and Katadyn pump. but you NEED a bigger bag to better organize and be able to SEE and GET TO YOUR THINGS. Especially in an emergency. and also you might have to guide someone through your pack/things to get something for you. like if you were wedged in a tree and needed someone to get whatever medical items you need because your basically incapacitated and incapable at the time. how are you Going to guide them through that rats nest maze of gear shoved in there. how would they find it. just please consider getting a bigger bag line a used ILBE marines pack. I got one for 50$ used and 190$ new. greatest big bag ever. I'm always on the fence trying to decide between that marine Arcteryx ilbe pack or my 5.11 48 pack. they make the procedure of getting to your things a lot better faster easier and possible. great video. Goodluck.
Thanks for the no nonsense display of supplies and NOT a dissertation on every single item. I wish all You Tube videos were this efficient!
