That is quite some incline coming into Liskeard!! 7:55!! It surprises me that an Inter-city train stops at such a small station 11:22 for the win. I am also amazed to read that Looe is still open! You couldn't beat a bit of Newton Abbot! And sea noise at 14:35! I lived in Dartmouth 1993-2001 and wish I'd spent more time at Newtown Abbot/Totnes but i was in my 20s then, and train spotting really wasn't in my mind........ 19:49 is spectacular! Teignmouth really is a great spot - and I read the station is preserved too.
Roy, for me what sets your videos apart from some others is the quality of the presentation. The intro shots of the locations such as the welcome sign, or station name plate etc, which clearly has been your MO for decades. Thanks for uploading these recordings from a memorable era - love the guards van on the rear of the goods trains
Great put together videos well done Roy

Wow! Good times! Lots of variety still
Just come across your videos and have subscribed. Looking forward to watching all the films from the 1980s.
Thanks very much for uploading them.
Managed to get a shot of 50149 in action!
What is the small terminus station with the 121 going into it called? Thanks.
This is part of Liskeard Station, Platform 3 which is the terminus for the Looe trains, comes in at right angle to the main line.
if at North Appleby
Did the 108 at 7.20 have a cab window missing?
I think its just the centre blind pulled down.
Very strange seeing 50s on freight trains as they were never really a freight locomotive
