Such an underrated rc because its plastic from comments on my channel people dont think its durable and would rather have the 6s with a metal chassis This car is quick!! Glad to see it is fixed like I said that lvc was too sensitive on those its pretty much anything with the v2 stealth esc. Where are all the Zee haters now lol?? Good run my friend.
I for one love the plastic chassis cars there cheap enough to really give a kicking to and fast enough. Infact I find this faster than most of my 6s trucks . As you say no such Zees problems now and it seems that with a bit of knowledge and experience your esc issues can be a thing of the past . Really want a Mojave 4s now 😂 Stay awesome buddy and thanks for the kind words Chris 🤙🛞🤜🚀🔥👊
Zee packs are well worth the money, surprised myself when I put one to the test, only downside was it was a little bit bigger than my high dollar basher battery of same mah
@@ChriswithaCrcwhen I switched to bigger power system in my kraton I found it slower in a sort, the wheels needed to be bigger. Once I got bigger wheels it went a lot faster.
@ChriswithaCrc exactly thats what surprised me too over 50 mph same as the 6s Kraton I think the plastic is more durable as well its a really good rc my only complaint is the center diff case filling up with sand I have a chassis cover coming and I am going to plug the hole in the bottom keep it from sucking it in.
Awesome that this solved the issue. The kraton 4s is a really awesome car when its properly dialled in. Mine definitely puts a smile on my face whenever i use it
Hey buddy , I’m really happy with the outcome . This truck is truly awesome 🤩 Very happy with how it feels , so much love for the 4s range that’s for sure 👌 Hope that your good buddy Stay awesome Chris 🤙🤩🚀👊🛞
This is awesome news buddy , It's a shame that arrma didn't do this from the off ! . I found that my kraton drove better , Did yours bud ? Stay awesome Chris :)
@ChriswithaCrc I wasn't having an lvc issue that I'm aware of but I noticed after I updated the firmware and changed my punch level to 8 the car is a monster. My buddy who has an outcast 4s drove mine and was shocked how much faster and better it drove than his outcast. I do love my cnhl batteries. I recommend taking a look at the racing cnhl black batteries. Basically same price as zee but a much better battery. My buddy runs zee i run cnhl and it's a night and day difference between the batteries.
Thanks mate. My Kraton 4s have the same issues you faced. So awesome news it worked upgrading the firmware and tweaking the settings.I just ordered the Spektrum update box 🙂
No problem 👍 so glad that this information was helpful for a few guys like yourself. It’s a shame this wasn’t mentioned by others sooner . Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙🔥🛞🚀🤜🤛🤩👊
I just bought a Mojave 4s and was having this problem so I bought the programmer and to my surprise there is no update so changing the LVC must be what actually helped
I have had this car for 2 months not one problem, I bash it hard. Put 20 million in center diff use hard case 5000mah 100c specktrum best car for money in my fleet had to put a hot racing steering saver and a better steering servo to get it to my liking but would definitely buy again!!
There an awesome truck aren’t they buddy this and the outcast is way my favourite trucks , I’m leaning towards getting the Mojave 4s as well now . I’m using 500k centre , 10k front and rear and they work brilliant for me . As for the servo I’m using a DS3235 pro servo and Kimbourgh servo saver and no complaints at all . It was just that the ESC needed an update and also LVC needed changing . Stay awesome Chris 🤙🚀🤩🛞👊
Hey Chris that's great to know that it's solved the issue. I have done the update on my Mojave esc but haven't been out to test it yet. One thing I wanted to mention to you is that I hooked up the program box to the Outcast I have which is the v2 rather than the v2.5 like the Mojave and you don't get the option to alter the LVC. Also you can't change the bec. I was wondering if you had tried programming your Outcast ESC as I know it's the same version as mine. It does show as a different hardware version to the v2.5. To be fair though I didn't have the same cutoff problem with the Outcast. Thanks for verifying this mate 😁👍👍
Hey there Pete ! , Hope that your well buddy , Ok so great news you have managed to update your mojave ESC , Did you change the LVC on that ? it needs to come down to 3.2 ( or what you feel comfortable with but the default is way to high ! ) i know that the Mojave is running the same ESC as the Outcast V2.5 and Kraton V2.5 . As for the Outcast v2 unfortunately i think your out of luck there buddy its locked on the v1 and v2 vehicles BEC and LVC are part of the new stealth ESC's on the V2.5 trucks . You will be able to update to pick up running improvements though with the spektrum program card and v2 ESC's , Think of it like a Algorithm the ESC is taking the supplied voltage and allowing power requested to in turn the motor ! But yes updates will help the trucks either way , just like a computer , phone ETC this is a good practice . As you said mind i never had a issue with my outcast v2 at all . Hope that this helps buddy , Stay awesome Chris :)
Hey there buddy , thanks for the kind words on the channel I sure do appreciate it honestly so humbled by you guys ! Ok so run time I had about 21 minutes from a full pack , I edited some of the video so that won’t show the full run time . Hope that this helps buddy Stay awesome Chris 🤙🤩🛞👊🚀🔥🤛🤜
@@ChriswithaCrc Wow that's a ton, I must have this issue on my mojave 4s too then...im running 2 6300 2S and have to be easy on the throttle WITH the throttle limiter at 75% just to get like 12-15 minutes of run time. RIP another $30 lol
4s is definitely a sweet spot for most of us buddy I hear you , 6s is a tad wild I find most to aggressive to be driven flat out and then slowing them down to throw about . You really got to think we’re to run them . The 4s range for me is were it’s at ! Stay awesome Chris 🤙🛞🚀🤩👍🔥
Arrma out of the box set the LVC to 3.6 which in my opinion is way to high , when though I will say this protects your batteries . 3.2 volts is typically fine .
Hey I was having an issue today where my kraton stopped and beeped and I had to power it off and on. Which Arrma says could be a LVC issue. I am gonna try the firmware like you, but did you also change the LVC point with the programmer?

Is it suppose to alarm you with beeps when it does go into LVC ? I had mine out for its maiden voyage yesterday and got 21 minutes out of a new 6200 mah. I could tell when it went into LVC at the end but it began beeping . Beeping normal or not ? Thanks and enjoyed the video as always.
