That's my pleasure to share my learnings to save others from doing try and errors... let me know if you are after anything specific. I am happy to share.... (there are still some areas which I haven't released a video yet...)
where did you get the paper pattern to use to cut out the panel I need that i have no clue how to measure that out otherwise. please help me, I really appreciate anyone's help. i am building the MFSF 2020 Cessna 172 glass cockpit with g100 units ,
I found a very low quality jpg image ، imported it in the inkscape software، and increased the size to match the real cessna measurements. I will look tonight to see if I still have the file...
Hi there, yes, But hasn't finished yet. I had 2 hard disk failure incidents that cost me loosing 90 percent of my build video footage... I am trying to put some videos together using the photos that I have, and I have to re-record some of the important parts of the video again. My G1000 is a laser cut version of flightsimmaker 3d printed design. You can find the files on thingiverse and his UA-cam channel. I used his PCB boards. I hope I can find some spare time to finish the G1000 video in the next couple of weeks. Please stay tuned and good luck!
Hi man, did u publish that stencil that you have of the g1000 on paper at the start of the vid anywhere if so could u please send me a link that would be great
Hi, Sorry for long delay getting back to you .I have just published the G1000 SVG files in my G1000 video. For the real size Instrument panel drawing and the cockpit layout, I found them online. here is the link to what I have used:cessnaglasscockpit.blogspot.com/2010/02/current-cad-drawing-of-my-larger.html
Hi, It is an almost 1:1 replica. just G1000 bezels are slightly larger than the originals, as I had to stick to the FlightSimMaker's design because I used his G1000 PCBs and I had to match the bezels with those PCBs. I am going to sell my previous cockpit parts including the panel, DIY replica of Bendix King radio stack and a DIY Garmin GPS GSN530 , switch panel, flap panel, and throttle/mixture panel, if you or anyone else is interested... :)
@@marvinbrooks2601 you mean the software? I am kind of loyal to the MSFS, I was flying with it since vesrion 3! I have used x_plane11 and really liked its cockpit integration and I am waiting for its ver12.
Thank you so much for helping us build our own panels. can not say Thank you enough.

Awesome Job and guide, I plan to do everything you outlined except I bought the RealSimGear G1000 suite instead.

Hi there the video is showing how to build cockpit with instruments. Do you have a video with cockpit and G1000?
