Do you have a problem with THD on this generator? I heard THD on Duromax is about 10-15%. Do you have problem with your sensitive devices such as TV, computer or refrigerator? Thanks

I didn't do any extensive testing but to my knowledge everything seemed to work fine when I connected the generator to run our house power for about 15 minutes. All of our electronics are plugged into surge protectors, which I think should offer THD protection.

I have no problems at all with THD. We both telework and can the whole house with our Duromax generator. We run our computers, Smart TV's, wifi router, central AC, etc. No issues.

I bought mine in 2021 used it once last year for a day and now with Beryl. I could not get it to start and had to get a new battery. What should I do in the future to prevent having to buy another battery due to non use? Also after using for a day, the carburater needed to be replaced.

You could always use the manual pull if the battery isn’t working.

@@andreaharris5515 you have to turn the key to on, close the choke, and then pull the string for it to turn on.

      Always have spare parts
      Spare
      Spark plug
      Carburetor
      Fuel hoses
      Fuel tank valve
      Air filters
      And always always have oil
Because that’s the thing about generators they’re used like once every few years and they go bad from sitting too long, spare parts will save you headaches
