These are intriguing - just a desk top vac with a big regular head on it - but isn't the dirt fill chamber too small for the power of the head ? Just my opinion but nice to see it Sam- glad it turned out OK and refurbed, apart from the train whistle of course - just like its big brother the cannister. If we get a couple more we could open a heritage railway 😂
A good little purchase for what you paid, I have the counter top wand vac from shark and it’s pretty good for what it is, I paid £109 for it which is steep really, I looked at one of these but price is too high as new.
For the price new I don't think their fab, but as a used buy their OK once you know their limits. It picked up well, but a full bin is still a tiny amount of dirt 😂 Its gone now though, video explaining it all coming soon 😂 (I swapped it)
It's got 2 problems. So it's draining battery on stand by mode, if I leave it off charge over night its dead by morning. Second thing is I have to pump the trigger a few times to get it running but once it's running its fine
I have found those interesting but too cheap to buy one. Not a bad deal. Shark gets lots of hate as does Dyson. I do prefer the filters in Shark that you have to clean often as they catch the dust and dirt not leaving you with a hidden dirty cyclone of stink.
That's a fair point tbh, although most shark owners mess up and leave it until it gets too bad. I started to like the tiny bin for that though, it filled up quick but then needed emptying alot, before it could sit and stink! Or do a Dyson and just suck the crap deep inside the cyclone where it builds up until the inevitable happens
