Baker currently is 3rd in the nfl with 35 tds, he ranks 4th in Yards with over 3600, he ranks 3rd in completion percentage at 70.8%, and ranks 5th in passer rating with a 104.1! He is winning his division right now and is about to play his 5th playoff game since January 2021. He was statistically the best qb we have had since Sipe ( yes baker has way better career stats than bernie too) And since leaving cleveland he has got even better. Berry made the worst trade in nfl history by trading for Deshaun who ranks dead last in QBR and yards per attempt this season and over the last 3 years too.

I love how Vaker is unapologetically himself, that is the exact type of attitude the Bucs needed to replace Tom Brady. I thought the Browns gave up on Baker to soon because the man played with a torn up shoulder and yes it was the left shoulder but I saw some of the practice footage and the man was in pain just tossing the ball before or after practice. There's a lot of what ifs with all this but it was such a bad trade and with Watsons contract it's going to be hard to just cut him and eat those cap hits.

Not just that but Stafford was hurt when the Rams claimed Baker and he was way better than what the Rams had as their 2nd QB. Baker came in with 2 days practice went out and best the Raiders then a couple weeks later put up 50 in the broncos. Baker wasn't going back to the Rams after those 5 games because he was betting on himself and he was right to. Now 2 years removed from that shoulder injury he's playing so good. He's a top 5 QB right now and has set a career high in passing touchdowns. If the Bucs can keep Liam Coen our OC and we get a couple good defenders like a pass rushing OLB, a better ILB, and a starting CB to shore up the defense Baker will have his best season ever next year, with a 2nd season in this offense and Chris Godwin back, Baker will be rewriting his career bests yet again just like he has this year. We have a too 4 rushing attack to go with our 4th ranked passing game. Baker is the man in Tampa and his personality is being carried over by the team and we are playing mean and with a major chip on our shoulder.
There's a rumor that the Rams wanted to trade Stafford to the Jets to re-sign Baker, but the Jets got Rodgers. They wanted Baker to stay as a back up, but he wanted to be a starter.
Baker Mayfield changed the fortune of two franchises. One positive. One negative. The Browns have not been the same since he left. And Baker made the TB Bucs relevant again after the retirement of Tom Brady.
Baler is the heart and soul of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and I couldn't be happier as a Bucs fan. I love the dude he brought exactly what the Bucs needed post TB12. He is not afraid to step into the spot Tom held down for 3 seasons and has shown he is a legit top 10 qb and is right now a top 5 QB stats wise. The Bucs have taken on Bakers fiery demeanor and are a scary offensive team with him throwing the ball. This offense Liam Coen installed is now made for Baker and with our top 5 rushing attack headed by Bucky and White Baker doesn't have to do it all like he did his first year in Tampa when we were the 32nd ranked rushing team. Our defense is playing better now but I'm still not sure this is how the defense will play now. Yes Baker has 14 ints but at least 4 are not on him, there's been 4 that have bounced right off his WRs hands and were oicked off after. In Baker I trust.
If the Browns had kept Baker they would be QB better by a long way and 3 first round draft picks better. They would be heading for the playoffs today and would have several playoff wins.
The fact that they’re even having this convo means that baker has the last laugh lol. Moral of the story: the grass isn’t always greener on the other side!
Yeah you guys took the Browns for fools and robbed them blind. It's not just that Watson is trash, or that the Browns gave up those draft picks but the contract the Browns gave Watson has tied their hands. I mean yeah they can cut him but the cap hits are going to be insanely high. It's like the Falcons and Kurt Cousins where he has I think 80mil fully guaranteed. Taking that cap hit up front will really hinder the Browns ability to sign any free agents and to resign their own players. Thats such a bad spot to be in because you can't just run it back with Watson but cutting him is going to really hurt too.
Bull you're wrong on Baker Mayfield this year. Right now he's top six and pretty much every QB stat except QBR (because of the INTs) He's absolutely definitely a top 12 QB this year there's no question about it and nobody can deny that. Look at the damn stats. Stop being a hater
Baker's high picks are are because he has been forcing the ball too much because of all the injuries on the D. Just look a his reaction when they flipped the coin in OT against the Chiefs. Defense wasn't getting any stops. The guy is putting up near elite numbers otherwise.
That trade is an irredeemable stain on the Haslam regime: guaranteed contact of astronomical size, the loss of three first round picks, and Watson's appaling personal baggage. Whata sucker for a SuperBowl.
Not just the local media in Cleveland either. The entire national media was calling for him to be traded or cut all because Baker played with a torn up shoulder and I think he hurt his leg too. Baker really should have shut it down and got the surgery to fix his shoulder instead of playing through it. I think if he does that the Browns dont trade for Watson and Baker plays on his 5th year option and who knows what happens after that. Baker is lightyears better than Watson is now for sure.
The trade was ignorant and bad then and now, Bull knows nothing. They gave up 3 first round picks, other picks and way too much money for a QB that did not play the year before because he was not happy, that teams had to wait to see what a Grand Jury was going to do and bring a QB here that had sexually assaulted more than 20 women. How can Bull think the trade made sense at the time? What has happened because of the trade is the only outcome they could have expected and they were foolish to make the deal. The Texans saw the Browns coming and the Brown bought a damaged bridge from them, A bridge that collapsed.
I agree. The issue is that the people who made this decision are still here drawing a paycheck. Baker seemed to be a casualty waiting to happen in this dis-organization. So it's fun to imagine what might have been but, the reality is that the decision makers are the same people.
They always "accidentally" mess up bakers stats, I've called them out on it a few times. They are just pathetic deshaun fanboys who can't handle how much better baker has played. 😂
@@damionaqeel I’ve heard them say Winston and Baker are the same. So insulting. Baker doesn’t turn it over anywhere close to the amount of times Winston does

Also I hate this revisionist history of Baker was terrible his entire time in Cleveland which is idiotic. They are acting like 22-25 year old players can't develop can't grow up overtime they just stay the exact same lol Also they say the blame Baker for being mad at the browns his last year and he was the reason the Browns were forced to let him go that is the single most idiotic thing ive ever heard and shows they are just talking about all this with ill will and just pure emotion
I generally like watching you guys, but honestly, I think you’re so off base. All of you hated Mayfield and wanted them gone. The fact of the matter is they made a huge mistake letting him go bring Watson in and that debacle which will go down in history as possibly one of the worst trades/deals in NFL football history. This was a humongous mistake would be far better off at least with two playoff ones and going for a third playoff placement this year with 71% quarterback will throw for 4000 yards and 30 touchdown. We haven’t had one of those baker left. You guys are idiots. You don’t know what you’re talking about and I’m gonna stop watching for a while you’re gonna be on probationfor lack of insight.
Bull, you are out of pocket . As we speak baker is playing better than c j stroud who has regressed in a big way in year 2. Texans will be out in the 1st round imo.
Yes, Baker would've matured just the same if he hadn't left the Browns. Keep hearing that question. No, hopping from team to team is not beneficial to a player.
No coming back after Baker called out Stefanski for calling 50 passes with a bum shoulder against tj watt and the steelers against an undrafted rookie RT in december. stefanski got butthurt, the FO chose stef, shipped baker off for peanuts. Had the browns replaced Stefanski with any McVay acolyte, theyd be a 10 win team at the least right now, possibly super bowl contenders with chubb, garrett, denzel and another 3 first rounders lol.
Baker is thriving in a great offensive system because there is an actual identity. The Browns still have a trash offense with zero identity and thats the difference.
G Bush once again you keep misremembering Deshaun Watson versus Cleveland In 2020 At Houston he passed for like 160 yd And we beat them 10-7 . That is not smoking anyone. In 2021 he did not play it was Davis Mills and tyrod Taylor.
That is the smartest thing I've heard. J say and bull is an idiot. Deshaun Watson was never a top 3 quarterback in this league. You don't just count on stats.
Jay is 100000% correct. You can’t have Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes and then literally nothing else or no incoming talent due to trading all your picks.
If the browns would have kept baker, added 3 more first round picks, 6 more pucks In total, assuming dingle berry didn't botch those picks like he always does. And the browns have more money for free agents... this team might have won a Lombardi by now... at the very least a couple more playoff wins from baker. He is a top 8 qb in this league. Stats say he is a top 5 qb in every catagory!. ( yards, tds, passer rating, and completion percentage)
Mayfield was the worst player on the Browns starting offense. there is a 95 percent chance the browns whiff on all 6 picks, if they hit on one pick it would have been dumb luck.
Haslem, AB, PD, KS, displayed their incompetency, bad decision making and horrific negotiating skills on the Watson trade. They miss evaluated Mayfield’s potential and egregiously over estimated Watson’s. Watson’s issues were well known before they made the WORST TRADE IN NFL HISTORY! Even with better talent around him, Watson’s record was no better than Mayfield’s, he only played in one playoff game and lost, his stats were padded in garbage time, he couldn’t process quickly, he held the ball too long which, in addition to being fragile, led to his serious knee injury, he was not a good leader, he quit on his team, and oh by the way he was a SERIAL SEXUAL OFFENDER. The caution signs were everywhere. Where was the critical thinking, deep analysis, and wise leadership? Regarding Mayfield, he led the worst team in NFL history to the playoffs in three years and then was cast aside because he didn’t play well WHEN HE WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED. Yes he’s matured since then but everyone matures at different rates. Who’s to say he wouldn’t have matured at the same rate in Cleveland. Regardless, this front office missed on their evaluation of both Mayfield and Watson and on almost all their draft pics and free agent signings. They are incompetent. If we had Mayfield, the draft picks, and the cap space we would be headed to the Super Bowl this year.
Too many chiefs not enough Indians, nothing gets done because everyone passes the buck and has their own agenda, it’d be stupid to think that Kevin doesn’t have an ego, as much of a yes man as he is, he definitely doesn’t think some baseball dude knows more about football than him and I’ve watched him call plays to mitigate a players deficiencies and I’ve watched him completely sabotage his players in the same season, AB would like nothing more than to get all the credit for this team since he seems to get a majority of the blame for these picks, but I know he’s not in charge of anything, and every pick goes through 3 offices before they actually make the call. Kevin and AB have consistently done just enough not to be fired, and that half assed attitude of covering your ass to maintain your high paying job is exactly why we’re Ass, jimmy has everyone playing off everyone else and telling him what he wants to hear, because his name is on all their checks, until he puts one person in charge of this and steps out of his own way we are perpetually screwed and the caravan of coaches and QBs will continue. If he was serious enough to pay Deshaun, he should make a ridiculous 😮off the field offer to bill and let him take over football operations, give him part ownership and give him exactly what Kraft wouldn’t and he would judge who’s essential going forward
Bull has proved to me to never listen to his advice on getting talent. Deshaun by time he played it had almost been 2 seasons since he played and he chose to sit for that first season. To me that showed his character on top of everything else off the field I would of never considered the trade. They needed to actually get behind Baker instead of making him throw 60 times a game with a bum shoulder. Jay is speaking with actually common sense.
A few years ago I got all bakers rookie cards so im still a fan. His cards still ain’t worth shit but if he continues playing like this I might make out in the end. If he wins a Super Bowl I’m sitting real good on my investment. Browns did screw up with that trade and many of us knew at the time. He’s right you don’t trade 5 first for any qb because that team is going to suck around him and he’s going to get hurt. Watson was fringe top 10 back then he was never top 3
Josh Allen went through some bad times in Buffalo and was being considered of being traded before and look at him now playing like an MVP -- Cleveland gave up on Baker way too quick smmfh...Now they're back to being the laughing stock of the NFL
They would be better and would have three first round draft picks but they probably would have messed up those picks. Haslam, Berry and Stefanski will never get to a Super Bowl or even get to an AFC championship game.
People are always hating on Baker or else remember him with rose colored glasses. He was fun to watch. He thrived when the chips were down and fell short with expectations. We were competitive almost every week and I looked forward to Browns games Sunday l. Even as a Buckeye fan, I still loved Bake was my QB. But he wasn’t a pro bowler. He was probably 12-18 as far as QBs go in the league which isn’t bad for as dysfunctional as his beginning was but he also wasn’t great. I do believe if we would have just stuck with him, gave him Amari Cooper and 3 first rounders/6 picks, we would be in a much better spot today. I think we have multiple playoff wins and would be in the hunt every year. No he would not be Allen, Jackson, or Mahomes, but he would get you 3,500-4,000 and 25-35 TDs a year with probably 10-15 ints. And guess what. With last years defense, we are probably in the AFC championship game. Maybe we even would have won the division. That’s not where we are and I hope we get our shit figured out. I wish Bake all the best.
That's a good left tackle over jed Wills, a first round wr, and a top edge to pair with Myles Garrett. Forget Baker, yeah, he would be an upgrade at this point. Even without him, Browns win the Super Bowl.
Kevin Stefanski will never have a top 10 passer. He took prime Kirk Cousins (who was a top 10 NFL QB at the time) and turned him into a mid-tier QB who was "under performing". Up until this year, the Stefanski as OC year was the worst in Cousins career. I've never quite understood the "Stefanski is an offensive genius" meme. All this is to say: Mayfield would not have 32 passing TDs in a Stefanski offense, simply because he wouldn't have the chance to throw that many. Would the Brown be better? Without doubt. Adams take is laughable. There are plenty of us who said the Watson trade was terrible at the time of the trade. It didn't make any sense then, and it's even WORSE now. Go Buccaneers!
Bull will forever hate Baker and never admit he was wrong... they keep acting like he did not break Peyton Mannings rookie TD record, take Browns to the playoffs, win a playoff game against their biggest rival on the road. True Browns fan know the truth... haters always hate.
1) It is one thing to not keep Baker and to sign Watson as a free agent and keeping all of the draft picks. However it is a whole big different thing to aquire Watson via the huge guaranteed contract while losing 3 first round picks and other picks. 2) Even with just signing as a free agent for less guaranteed money there was a red flag, and that was Watson sitting out a year which smells of a malcontent. 3) However acquired Watson came with another red flag, legal baggage, legal baggage that was yet settled and could cause a suspension of unknown games, maybe an entire season. With that Watson goes two full seasons of not playing a game that counts. 4) Haslem thought the window was open now and bet the house that Watson would bring a Superduperbowl appearance. He knew by 2025 the window would likely be closed with aging players and the lost draft picks. 5) Watson did not want to come to Cleveland, but when Miami passed on him Haslem pulled up in a Brinks truck and made Watson an offer he couldn't refuse. 6) I think now as I thought then. Sign Baker for the 5th year, sign the best backup qb they could, and keep the draft picks. 7) The Browns used 1st round picks for Quinn, Weeden, and Manziel, but passed on using 1st round picks for future hall of famers Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes. Baker may be in the Hall one day, but we dumped him for the insane Watson deal a few years later after not using a 1st round pick to draft him. Oh but don't worry cause we got DTR.
Don' t want to hear any nonsense about Baker's bad character attitude. That would have made sense if you didn't trade for a deviant, give up multiple first round picks and someone you knew full well was going to get suspended for character issues.
The Ivey Cult losers who squandered all the talent left from Dorsey picks and trades. They haven't added any value to the organization and, put the team in cap hell. 😂 They got delusional dummy Browns fans thinking they are the best thing since the pocket protector was invented using a dirty sock, broken pencils, and a maxi pad.
And the other side of that equation is where the Tampa Bay Bucs would be without Baker Mayfield. They certainly would not have gone to playoffs last year and wouldn't be in first place this year. In spite of the fact that they play in a very mediocre division.
What ifs are hard to say , Baker is better now arguably from experience with different programs. Maybe you win a few more games but not sure if you’re some legendary Browns team right now . Things happen for a reason can’t look back too much now
I like Baker but never thought he was a top 5 QB I thought he’s exactly what he was last season around 12 to 15 ranked QB with a little more upside at times and is capable of a top 5 game occasionally. Baker will not carry a bad team very far but can contribute on a good one if Tampas defense gets healthy and play more like they did earlier in the season they could make noise in the playoffs.
Yup baker won a another playoff game with Tampa last year when their run offense ranked 31st and thier defense ranked 26th... so he did carry a very bad team to a playoff win already. But I agree he could do it again this year
Hard knocks that vist the Browns asked about the culture here and they left not knowing what it was WOW really... Watson and Winston better not be on this roster next year
Watson left his career in shambles not a lawyer,Bush is crazy talking about the lawyers reputation are you kidding me no one accused him of assaulting 25 women that would be creepy Watson. And what is he talking about more chances he’s been on the team for 3 years now he’s been suspended or injured or playing bad 98% of the time he’s not really had one good game he’s had some half games that he played pretty good. Most fans don’t like him because he doesn’t play well more so than his off field stuff.
I think we would of won at least one playoff game if we had Baker. The hard truth is that at best Baker would be the 5th best AFC QB and 3rd AFC North QB. Currently Baker is the best NFC South QB and in discussion for the best NFC QB. Also what has always sucked for CLE is being in the same division as the 2 best ran franchises in the NFL. TB benefits from being the terrible NFC South.
I love Josh but if we gave up the same draft picks as we did for Watson I don’t know if I would do it because this Browns team is bad I don’t know if he could win that much here.
These guys LOVED the trade when it happened. Talking about going to the Super Bowl LOL … the big guy can’t admit he was and is wrong about Baker.. he is clueless..
The big lie is saying Baker had a bad attitude the real truth was there was a divided locker room and it had to do with race some black players didn’t like him because he was drafted before Lamar which they thought was better than him. They had the attitude against him not vice versus.I think it’s impossible to judge were the Browns would be at by playoffs I think the question is dumb the way it is worded if they paid Baker less than Watson and had all those draft picks I believe they would be in the playoffs this year and would be in a lot better shape obviously. The Watson deal has wreaked this team for at least a couple more years unless a miracle happens and they play Watson next season and he’s good that looks very unlikely.
Look how many times Burrow was sacked in the last couple years. You have to develop players and have decent draft picks with great scouting. Without an offensive line your elite qb will be on IR carousel unless he is Josh Allen. The most important thing, your organization has to have standards for player conduct.
Burrow isn't really good. His receivers help him a lot. The opposing teams are so scared to get beat deep that they give Chase and Higgins a lot of cushion. They run looping comebacks 80% of the time. Burrows intermediate passing is not that good.
The Browns would still be fighting for last in the division. Y’all brown fans are a joke. Baker is doing well because of the talent that is around him in Tampa. Having two all pro WRs (one being a hall a famer) will help any QB confidence. You put him in this situation where the weapons aren’t the greatest, online is hit and miss, no running game, and y’all would be ready to get him out of Cleveland just like y’all do every other QB.
He was right the whole time. He said baker would have a better career than deshaun when they made the trade and that is exactly what happened. Baker leads deshaun in every single stat or metric and playoff wins since the trade.
The Jets probably want Sam Darnold (Vikings) or Geno Smith (Seahawks) back other than Aaron Rodgers nowadays too? Like someone going back on Facebook looking for an old girlfriend... Let it go! It didn't work the first time for a reason. Lol!!
@ the only thing you could say was wrong was trading for DW. Baker was always going to be released and needed to be humbled before he could return to being a mid level starter. He was never going to be here regardless they had had enough
I wouldn't Jimmah. Josh is 1 run from tearing an Achilles... stop mortgaging years for 1 player. Trent Dilfer won a SB... Doug Williams... stop overrating a TEAM SPORT
The same continuous question should be, Where would the Browns be if they had Drafted Lamar Jackson (MVP-2x) or Josh Allen in the 2018 Draft? Consistent championship contending QBs instead of Baker. They built themselves on Same Team they were drafted. Baker's on fourth team.
@bonzopookie4579 If fans want to hold GMs (Berry) accountable for every pick that seems to haven't worked out, although Coaching also plays a big part...then you have to hold other GMs accountable (John Dorsey) for also MISSING twice on Two " Franchise QBs... Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. Every GM hits and misses...can't point at one. The Browns haven't won since 1964. PLENTY OF DRAFTS by a lot of Browns GMs that apparently haven't changed much in the Browns overall team success.
Jay was right the whole time. He said baker would have a better career than deshaun when they made the trade and that is exactly what happened. Baker leads deshaun in every single stat or metric and playoff wins since the trade.
Baker had to be humbled. I was a big fan of Mayfield and I am very glad he's doing well in Tampa, However, he needed the character adjustment of being humbled with his experience with the Panthers, 49ers and Buccaneers as well as fighting for a starting spot. If we would have kept him, he would have continued to be a problem and would have fizzled out of the league. Naturally, this speaks a bit to Baker's attitude, but I think our locker room and coaching staff are mainly to blame here. We almost ruined him and someone managed to revive his career.
Everytimes he's made the playoffs he won at least one game, he bout to play in his 5th playoff game since 2021 lmao.. he's literally never lost in the first round 😂
probably 4-10 with Baker. The guy is having a great statistical year but still leads the league in interceptions since 2018. Just tells you how bad he was in Cleveland. He's where he can thrive, where 9-8 can win the division.
Defense actually has to play defense, Baker can't do that as well. When your offense is 3rd in the league, your D has to step up at some frickin point. Yeah blame Baker. Hahaha

@@CL053DC45K37 100% agree. I am a Baker Bro.
If the Browns had kept Baker they would be QB better by a long way and 3 first round draft picks better. They would be heading for the playoffs today and would have several playoff wins.
Agree
The fact that they’re even having this convo means that baker has the last laugh lol. Moral of the story: the grass isn’t always greener on the other side!
True
100%
Say what you want but I don't think baker would be who he is today on the browns.
@dontaviouswinston7331 not with that trash front office and shitty coach lol.
@ well we’ll never know, cause the Browns didn’t give him the chance to find out
Houston Texans fan here. We thank you for your donation of 3 first rounds and 6 picks total.
Only if the Browns could turn back time. Never ever learn. Just plain stupid. The Browns just the Browns remember!
Didn't have to give up one Massage Therapist either.
Right now he's top six and pretty much every QB stat except QBR (because of the INTs)
He's absolutely definitely a top 12 QB this year there's no question about it and nobody can deny that. Look at the damn stats. Stop being a hater
He’s honestly like top 5 stats wise if he didn’t have so many picks he’d be right there in MVP convo .. Bull is just next level hating lol
I can’t stand to listen to Bull on pretty much anything.
Baker is in the mvp conversation. Look at the odds. He is easily a top 8 qb in the nfl.
Baker's high picks are are because he has been forcing the ball too much because of all the injuries on the D. Just look a his reaction when they flipped the coin in OT against the Chiefs. Defense wasn't getting any stops. The guy is putting up near elite numbers otherwise.
@@quivalla agree he’s been ballin man
That trade is an irredeemable stain on the Haslam regime: guaranteed contact of astronomical size, the loss of three first round picks, and Watson's appaling personal baggage. Whata sucker for a SuperBowl.
That trade is the Browns. The only people who thought it would work were the Browns brain trust.
Jimmy Hasbeen ripped off truckers. What did you expect lol sound judgment?
I don't think it's unfair to say that the media led the calls to ship him outta here.
Yup and those are the same people in the video, plus Jason Lloyd
Not just the local media in Cleveland either. The entire national media was calling for him to be traded or cut all because Baker played with a torn up shoulder and I think he hurt his leg too. Baker really should have shut it down and got the surgery to fix his shoulder instead of playing through it. I think if he does that the Browns dont trade for Watson and Baker plays on his 5th year option and who knows what happens after that. Baker is lightyears better than Watson is now for sure.
The BROWNS kicked Baker to the curb because they were looking to get Watson and Baker was not happy about that that's why he wanted to be traded 😮😮
Turns out that was the worst move the browns ever made. Baker has been undeniably better than deshaun in every way since the trade.
Yep. Matt Ryan was offended too and requested a trade when the falcons went after Watson
Yeah Baker just gave the Broens all he had in 21 playing hurt and with a serious shoulder injury. He said he felt betrayed and I would have too.
Browns are always the shoulda, coulda, shoulda team.
I agree. The issue is that the people who made this decision are still here drawing a paycheck. Baker seemed to be a casualty waiting to happen in this dis-organization. So it's fun to imagine what might have been but, the reality is that the decision makers are the same people.
Wasted a phenomenal 2022 season by Chubb only to finish in last place in the division.
Ummmm that graphic is wrong as hell and very misleading. Baker has 88 interceptions in his career. Not 188. Somebody mustve looked up Jameis ints
They always "accidentally" mess up bakers stats, I've called them out on it a few times. They are just pathetic deshaun fanboys who can't handle how much better baker has played. 😂
@@damionaqeel I’ve heard them say Winston and Baker are the same. So insulting. Baker doesn’t turn it over anywhere close to the amount of times Winston does
@@christopherwaits7852oh god no Baker is WAY better than Jameis Winston. I'm a Bucs fan i watched every game Jameis played in Tampa and he never gave us fans confidence like Baker does. The players love Baker and Bakers personality just radiates through the entire team.
Atleast with bake we always had a chance
100%. Baker has made believers out of every Bucs fan and is showing just goes legit he is.
Facts baker is 3rd in the nfl in tds with 35 total tds! Top 5 In yards, passer rating and completion percentage too.
Baker couldn't get along with OBJ, now released, but can get along with Mike Evans....hah!
Evans is a hall of famer, obj ain't made a probowl since 2016, almost a decade ago 😂 odell got 9 catches for 55 yards this year and baker got 35 tds!
Except for 1; these guys will never give Baker his due.
I think Dustin Fox would
I think Adam the Bull was dropped on his head one too many times when he was a baby!! 😄
Yes, Baker would've matured just the same if he hadn't left the Browns. Keep hearing that question. No, hopping from team to team is not beneficial to a player.
Not mature like a sexual predator I guess?
G Bush once again you keep misremembering Deshaun Watson versus Cleveland
In 2020 At Houston he passed for like 160 yd And we beat them 10-7 .
That is not smoking anyone.
In 2021 he did not play it was Davis Mills and tyrod Taylor.
G Bush defends Watson because of color. That's it.

No GBush, they people don't give Watson the same chance as Baker should have gotten. Watson was literally worse this season than Manziel was in 2015.
Facts, Bakers worst year in cleveland was statistically better than deshauns best season here. 😂
@@anthonypa8045 yep, the year he was playing with a broken shoulder
@@melhall17 awful lot of cope in that statement.
He was emotional and fire driven
Why did they have Baker with 188 career picks lol
We watched him run the ball down the field for the win late in games. Shit that how his rookie game went
Jay is speaking with actually common sense.
jay's take is 100% what would've happened. maybe two playoff appearances but at least one win. Maybe two in one season as well.
Minus one helmet to helmet from Dirty Dan... who knows.
CJ threw for I believe about 115 yards last week he’s not playing that good Baker threw 4 tds
Baker is 8-6 which is better than US and Watson record is here !!!!! 😮😮😮😢😢 BROWNS 3-11 😂😂😂😂
Deshaun was 1-6 😂
What did Watson do the season before he came here? Didn’t play
They would be better and would have three first round draft picks but they probably would have messed up those picks. Haslam, Berry and Stefanski will never get to a Super Bowl or even get to an AFC championship game.
Also have to factor in all the additional cap space we would have had to improve the roster
It’s as if these guys don’t know Kevin’s passing rankings
He loved hitting David too. I really miss baker and they completely blew it. Just thinking about it angers me
Bull will forever hate Baker and never admit he was wrong... they keep acting like he did not break Peyton Mannings rookie TD record, take Browns to the playoffs, win a playoff game against their biggest rival on the road.
Berry Depodesta and Stefanski ran Baker out of Cleveland.
The Ivey Cult losers who squandered all the talent left from Dorsey picks and trades. They haven't added any value to the organization and, put the team in cap hell. 😂
They got delusional dummy Browns fans thinking they are the best thing since the pocket protector was invented using a dirty sock, broken pencils, and a maxi pad.
And the other side of that equation is where the Tampa Bay Bucs would be without Baker Mayfield. They certainly would not have gone to playoffs last year and wouldn't be in first place this year. In spite of the fact that they play in a very mediocre division.
*DRAFT PICKS AREN'T LOTTERY TICKETS!* Not if you do your research, and VET THE PLAYERS. Would you go to a college without a tour at least?
If the Browns are missing on the draft picks, who is to blame for that?? Hmmm
Fire berry, he traded away baker.. and missed on all 5 of his first rd draft picks.
They would still be a Losing Team maybe a Playoff Win or Two . The Whole Organisation is Crap
Hahah I love the Adam the bull man hahahah haha. And HES RIGHT !!! 😤
You guys have a lot of bad takes today
What ifs are hard to say , Baker is better now arguably from experience with different programs. Maybe you win a few more games but not sure if you’re some legendary Browns team right now . Things happen for a reason can’t look back too much now
What if’s are a waste of time and energy. The browns need to do better at thinking through their decisions.
You mean Baker Chub Nojuko and some good draft picks? WE would have the best team in the AFC.
Facts
Jay is always over the top.
Browns never went to Houston when Baker was with the team- played 2020 in Cleveland & 2021 in Cleveland / G Bush is stupid
2018 I remember the game
Who added the 1 in 188, he only has 88 INT in his career, the hell
I like Baker but never thought he was a top 5 QB I thought he’s exactly what he was last season around 12 to 15 ranked QB with a little more upside at times and is capable of a top 5 game occasionally. Baker will not carry a bad team very far but can contribute on a good one if Tampas defense gets healthy and play more like they did earlier in the season they could make noise in the playoffs.
Yup baker won a another playoff game with Tampa last year when their run offense ranked 31st and thier defense ranked 26th... so he did carry a very bad team to a playoff win already. But I agree he could do it again this year
This was a great discusion
Hard knocks that vist the Browns asked about the culture here and they left not knowing what it was WOW really... Watson and Winston better not be on this roster next year
They would be better off.
Jay trying to wiggle out of something
Watson left his career in shambles not a lawyer,Bush is crazy talking about the lawyers reputation are you kidding me no one accused him of assaulting 25 women that would be creepy Watson. And what is he talking about more chances he’s been on the team for 3 years now he’s been suspended or injured or playing bad 98% of the time he’s not really had one good game he’s had some half games that he played pretty good. Most fans don’t like him because he doesn’t play well more so than his off field stuff.
Baker was downgraded to Browns receivers for half the season. He tried too hard and threw lots of picks. Okay? 🤷🤦
Can you send me some of what you're smoking
The Bengals busted the bills in a bad weather playoff game in buffalo. Good offense travels.
Jay totally right why his team always sucked even when HOU made playoffs that division is/was arguably the worst in the NFL Go Steelers!
Bull, I've said when the gave up so much to get Watson, worst trade ever.. thats why after 45 years I'm not a Browns fan
Omg I fucking love when Jay starts to spiral 😂. What a clown.
Lol!!
Finally talking about the real situation and all the bought and paid for by the organization!!

Why am I not surprised the ultimately bad Cleveland sports show would beat this dead horse? And omg Jay is beyond insufferable.
Admitting you're wrong is how you grow
@ the only thing you could say was wrong was trading for DW. Baker was always going to be released and needed to be humbled before he could return to being a mid level starter. He was never going to be here regardless they had had enough

The same continuous question should be, Where would the Browns be if they had Drafted Lamar Jackson (MVP-2x) or Josh Allen in the 2018 Draft? Consistent championship contending QBs instead of Baker. They built themselves on Same Team they were drafted. Baker's on fourth team.
more of a crystal ball then keeping the consensus #1 draft pick that the Browns selected in Baker

They'll be in the same situation 🤷🏿♂️
Baker had to be humbled. I was a big fan of Mayfield and I am very glad he's doing well in Tampa, However, he needed the character adjustment of being humbled with his experience with the Panthers, 49ers and Buccaneers as well as fighting for a starting spot.
If we would have kept him, he would have continued to be a problem and would have fizzled out of the league. Naturally, this speaks a bit to Baker's attitude, but I think our locker room and coaching staff are mainly to blame here. We almost ruined him and someone managed to revive his career.
That's excuse making at the highest levels
One and done in playoffs.
Bakers a choker
Everytimes he's made the playoffs he won at least one game, he bout to play in his 5th playoff game since 2021 lmao.. he's literally never lost in the first round 😂
probably 4-10 with Baker. The guy is having a great statistical year but still leads the league in interceptions since 2018. Just tells you how bad he was in Cleveland. He's where he can thrive, where 9-8 can win the division.
*Every QB that has thrown 60+ interceptions since 2018 has started in 12 games at least 5 times.*

@@TerrainOne Aaron Rodgers leads the league in interceptions since 2005. See how stupid that stat is?
Defense actually has to play defense, Baker can't do that as well. When your offense is 3rd in the league, your D has to step up at some frickin point. Yeah blame Baker. Hahaha
