ENDLESS ARCHIVE GONE FOREVER! - ESO Devs FORCED to change the NAME?

- If you haven't read the news or socials regarding The Elder Scrolls Online: Endless Archive...you may NOT know that the ESO developers have decided that by the 18th December 2023, the ENDLESSS ARCHIVE name will be NO MORE!
That's right from NOW on it will be called "INFINITE ARCHIVE"!
Was it due to copyright with EA? as in EA SPORTS? OR was it due to just too much stupid and confusion? WELL all english translations will be getting this change soon.
Let's see how THIS turns out on social media hahah!

Agree and Very highly doubt it. There was another rumor about aa different game studio with ties into Sega that has been known to sue for words with "Endless" is the one at fault here. Nobody knows
Caving to pressure ... I get it.. EA Sports, Electronic Arts video games.. but if ZoS isn't calling it EA, is there really any copyright infringement? It's us users that shorten it to EA. So petty.
It should be called Repetitive Archive, not infinite, no endless...

This is one of the reasons why people such as Ben Franklin was so opposed to patents and copyrights. Given enough time wed find ourselves arguing over a random dungeon in a random video game being sued by a sports game company over the beginning letters of the dungeons name. Truly reasonable. 😂

It would've get to the point of utter ridicule: preemptively copyright _personal_ abbreviations we could come up from a name in interpersonal relations, which isn't used by Bethesda/Zos, and which has nothing to do with the different original copyrighted name, is a cupid exaggeration infringing on basic human rights and personal freedoms. HENCE, I don't think that was the true issue... Hopefully.

So EA is now to be called "Endless Archice" since they have claimed dibs on the acronym for themselves.
They change the name, but do nothing about the fact that there are several bosses that can one shot you and your dead. The difficulty is all over the place. My sorercer is the only one of my toons that has had any success with it.
Right I've got clears in almost every vet dungeon and most vet trials, yet I'll get SMOKED in an early like first cycle boss on a very tank build

Wr don't have to change anything. My friends and I are going to keep calling it Endless Archive anyway and yeah, EA for shorthand because it's habit now and zeni can eat a big bag of rice, completely raw, if they don't like it.

I totally understand. Endless sounded like something I never really wanted to start. Infinite is a more elegant word in that regards.
Was it named "endless quests"? No. It rather had the same meaning as "the endless filling of the Archive" (like an "endless road to perfection")... An attribute of the dungeon's "raison d'être", not of the different related quests you could be given. As a comparison, If the Universe is endlessly (and relatively) empty, should we then refrain from going into space and accomplish several exploratory missions? Neither.

It almost feels like it’s being scrapped with the lackluster rewards. Not sure why they wouldn’t buff the rewardable sets during the pts when feedback was given how “okay” the sets were. Love the idea of the dungeon itself, just no reason to keep grinding the content.
Just another reason to never buy any EA games.
