The production value of Evolves videos are amazing, the scenery, the camara angles, the sound etc. is top class. And a big thanks to Petrol Ped's insight on the GP3, he is definitely one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to Mini.
Great to see this collaboration on the Evolve GP3 mods, I'm a long time subscriber of both. The video side by side really shows the differences in steering inputs 👍🏻
Petrol Ped and Evolve a great show. Nice to see your improvements back to back. Will definitely be in touch 😉 my birthday present is coming from Evolve. Well done lads.
Amazing video, I have a mini GP3 number 2320, and it really gets uncontrollable in the city and on the road. This video was excellent for me to know what I should do about camber and suspension to make it more stable. Congratulations
Thank you for the comparison video, great to hear both your views. Doing to much to a mini or any other car can swing either good or bad. Thank you for these videos as it helps inform my upgrade path. When you guys mentioned torque steer 😬reminds me I need to get a Wavetrac LSD.
Great video, really interesting to see what the guys at Evolve have done to improve it for road use. I can’t help but think if your money would be better spent on a FK2 Type R if you want something fast and front wheel drive. Honda have nailed front wheel drive on there latest cars. Keep the great content coming.
Believe we listed them all in the video but: Bilstein B16 Clubsport Suspension Eventuri Intake 6Sixty Union Forged Wheels + PS4S Supersprint Catback Exhaust Custom Alignment by Center Gravity
@@EvolveAutomotive Thanks for your rapid response. This size should be fine on a stock GP3 with stock wheels and standard ride height ? It’s nearly +1” in overall circumference?
Yes, our 6Sixty wheels are stock sizes in every way. Additional ride height would only add more clearance. We had no issues with the increased diameter.
yes. Ped made a mistake! I love my GP3 more. My wife has a Countryman. Just what a difference. And I also have a base R56 6 speed. So just much different!
The only flaw of the Mini GP3 is that I could only afford to buy one of them... if I could afford it I would get two... why? I don't know this car is AWESOME! What I like is that the car is like a wild horse that needs to be tamed, I cannot just hop in it and drive fast right away like I could with my previous cars... I have to work at it and learn the car and I love that.
I’m now on my 3 mini gp3 and I still live that it’s this stiff. Haha but I’m from a younger generation so maybe that helps 🤣 I drove my first one daily till 112.000km and my second one till 89.000km and now my 3 one is coming in this week 🚀. In my opinion really the best all round car ever made 💪🏻🚗💨
Hello from a random MINI fan! Really thinking about purchasing one of these down here in Florida for my daily! Any advice on what to look for and or pricing? If your on your third then you must love it!!!
@@manion133the price must be different for the USA. Because we have a lot of tex that go on the cars in Holland. The most important thing to look at is the comfort pack that’s on the gp. When the car was produced they had one version with heated seats, climate control, navigation, front and back heated window. And the non comfort version did not have this. That was a more track focused version. So if your looking at buying one look for those options
A bit odd what they did with this mini. You could a get civic type r fk8 which does everythingand and better on the track for the same price. Providing you can live with looks.
BMW Mini have done a GP special edition for each generation. It's more an 'ultimate' Mini, something for the die hard fans of the brand than one I believe they are truly pitching as a product. You are correct the FK8 is a terrific offering, but it's a class above the Mini.
I can drive this car fast on the road as good as any, if you are not a good driver and find it too difficult, you’re probably better off going and buying JCW or YarisGr two cars that your granny could drive fast.

Thanks Bud 👍

nice to see the both of you in a single video....and great to have a side to side / before and after review...
Petrol Ped and Evolve a great show. Nice to see your improvements back to back. Will definitely be in touch 😉 my birthday present is coming from Evolve. Well done lads.
Cheers Keith hope you have a great birthday 🎂

Love this collaborations you’ve been doing lately Imran and this car review comparison was spot on just up my alley……thanks for sharing!!!
Awesome video! Would love to see both of you guys each in a GP3 on the track
So would I 👌
Lovely countryside scenery… the green grasses….
The hands say it all in the video
Nice work really enjoy these review style videos👌
So cool to see a team up video with petrol ped! Such great camera and drone work!
Superb video - great shots & visuals. Well done 😁
regarding the MINI GP - lovely car, a bit too raw for me though!
Great video imran 🙌 good to see Pete on the channel 👍🏻
Great video with both of you talking about minis.
Great video concept 🔥
Nice collaboration, This GP3 just need a manual gear box to be perfect
Awesome video and very elucidating…
Nice video guys 👌

When you guys mentioned torque steer 😬reminds me I need to get a Wavetrac LSD.
Wavetrac was one of the best mods we did to our Cooper S!
Great video guys :)
“I’m a massive Mini guy,” says the 6ft + guy as he towers over the GP3.
Lol he really is a mini fan! He owns 2
Great video, really interesting to see what the guys at Evolve have done to improve it for road use.

There’s definitely cheaper ways to go as fast/faster.
Do you not mean FK8
@@philiphawkins4684 FK2 is cheaper than the FK8 but still not as compromised as the mini looks on a B Road.
Good work matt still not sold on the GP3 but I watch anyway
Thank you Adam
Great video
You need to do a GR Yaris vs Mini GP on road and track battle/review. I’m starting to have second thoughts on the GRY vs the MGP 😬
We've done a road review of GR vs GP. On track I would say the GP might edge it as its designed for it.
Are you guys ever going to make the stitched/chopped intake scoop for the GP3/Evolve intake kit?
Not sure what you mean, and anything intake wise you would need to ask Eventuri not us.
Great review 👍🧽🏁
😊❤❤❤❤thank you
So then, would these mods help the BMW 128ti which can also suffer a bit of that torque steer? What was the main fix, the camber adjustment?
Yes camber adjustment was the main fix.
Have you got a full list of modifications which you have done to your Mini GP3?
Believe we listed them all in the video but:
Bilstein B16 Clubsport Suspension
Eventuri Intake
6Sixty Union Forged Wheels + PS4S
Supersprint Catback Exhaust
Custom Alignment by Center Gravity
Welcome Imran sir how are you.
What tire size are you running? In the stock size of 225/35/18 , I can only find Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
225/40/18 to get the PS4S.

Petrolped 👍🏿💯
The collaboration is wicked keep it up guys
What exhaust did you change to
Supersprint Catback
👍👍
What rims does your GP have?
6Sixty Design Union - They’ll also fit a regular F56
What kind of tuning company says we didn’t tune it as we didn’t think it needs more power lol
A grown up one?
More power is not always needed especially if it affects the way they car drives...
You must be fun at parties 🤣
😴
If you haven't installed a 6spd in it, you haven't fixed it's flaws.
I love pillow. I’d love to be able to drive it but unfortunately, I’m an automatic.

Now take them to the track and let us know how much behind the modded car is.
Stop leaning on poor gp3 Pete 🙂
All mini talk and im just like can i put a 2L engine in my 208 GTI?
Why you ask? Fun, that is all.
Good luck with the project!

It's shameful this car drives like a pig on our every day roads. Especially as it's not exactly cheap.
SUPER!!!!!!!!
