Finally, someone does it right, with a 300” screen! That’s what I don’t understand with these home theaters, is the small screens. I am poor and have a 185” screen. If I had the money, I would have at least a 300” screen.
i worked projectionist on screens way larger from UCI cinemas tower park 10 plex, with first experimental overhead surround and that was 1989 to Warner Bros with even larger screens . i use wall to wall 120" that makes the oled look tiny and with AT screen with JBL 4673A x5 five screen THX 38.000kw m the pro THX not that home version and x115 JBL pro cinema speakers
I reckon space is also an critical criterion besides budget in determining an optimal solution in 'home' theater applications.
I am all for bigger screens, poweramps and multi subs. Budget and space become the main constraints for 'home theater enthusiasts' but for those who have it, are lucky for them sky is the limit!
THX, a standard measurement that I, like most, follow recommends a shorter distance in relative to the 'standard' SMPTE for a specific projection screen size.

The size of the screen is only relative to the distance at which the audience is seated. A screen can be too large if the room can't accommodate adequate viewing distance.
Qsc is amplifier used to give power the speakers and yamha is the av receiver

It depends on ur room size length and height based on whcih the screen size is defined..and accordingly projector...any thing bigger than 200" will cost not less than 10 lacs on projector

Having such a big screen it would be hard to watch; your head would tire from moving left to right unless you sit back about 30 feet.

This is too much amplification for such a small hall. I assume this area is not more than 3000 SQ FT.
Amplification is based on the speaker system that we choose for the room, We have done 9.6.6 system with 4 way and Sub LF, LF, MF & HF are individually driven hence amplifications with adequate power is required for the 40' room.
