Wow! Largest screen I've seen. What is your ceiling height? Where did you order fabric? What's playing next week and how much are tickets? Hehe. Great job!
Thanks for watching Cody! I'm glad you liked the theater. The ceiling is 8'9" high. Are you asking about the wall fabric? I found that at a local fabric store in Salt Lake City and I couldn't tell you where ir the name of the fabric. I just took a sample of the wallpaper and the seat leather down to the fabric store and tried matching it to stuff until I found one that I liked, that I could breath through. (wanted to make sure it was as AT as possible so that the insulation behind it could help trap sound reflections at ear level and below.) I don't know what the next movie to actually play will be, but I am looking forward to Godzilla Vs Kong later this month. Thanks again!

Wow that's a magnificent Home Theater with a perfect screen and speakers love it but I got few tiny suggestions one the wood should be stained brown and the weak red color should be replaced with real red color of course this is my opinion and its also super great as it is .
Thanks for checking out the theater and for your input. I’m not sure what you mean about the wood, it is stained brown. Do you mean you prefer a different brown? Cheers mate. Cool, hopefully I hear from him. I think that's the projector I'll eventually get. I just released a couple of vids on my build if your interested. Love your channel bud keep up the great content :D
So I came to realize that center speakers are only built the way they are because they have to fit above or below your screen. They are a compromised design so it makes me wonder when you have a acoustically transparent screen, why not use identical tower speakers for the front?
Good question. The simple answer as to why is that I didn’t alway have these set up with an AT screen. But as for the vertical =superior argument, I believe that has the most to do with off-axis listening. With the 55-C, they have configured the tweeter and mid in a vertical arrangement so that it still performs well off-axis. For the 4 woofers, I don’t think it matters where they are located. Thanks for the questions though! I knew I’d be asked, so you win the prize as the first 🙌
That is an amazing theater room . The design and colors with the seating is extreme and it's like no other. Awesome. Thank you for bringing these incredible home theaters for everyone to see. Keep On Keeping On 👍
@@hstudio30 The screen of course what really makes a theater a theater the enormous screen. You gotta have everything else of course but when ask to pick one it's the screen .
Right on Ben Great job on the Home Theater, looking forward for any updates and upgrades on the beautiful Theater... Thanks Sarkis for Feeding our addiction in our quest to build a perfect home theater great motivational content hopefully I can see my Home Theater featured on your channel...👍👍
Thanks Martin! It was hard to wait so long but it gave me ample time to plan. Before I started, I had every detail planned out except for the superficial stuff like the colors and the wallpaper, etc... As much as I wanted to have it done years sooner, it wouldn't have been nearly as nice if I had started sooner.
Is that the NanoAcoustic FlexiWhite screen material? 1.1 gain? I'm looking at that myself and I'm also looking to make the screen very close to that size, maybe just a bit smaller at about 192" diagonal 2.35:1. I'm looking at the Sony VW715ES projector which is only 1800 lumens compared to the Epson's 2500 so I'm just a little worried about brightness. Stewart screens has a 1.3 gain acoustically transparent but I'm not sure I can get it, I don't think they sell raw screen material and I don't want to buy a completed screen. That's a great looking room! Unfortunately I don't think I have the imagination or skill to make my room as cosmetically nice as that. My room will have its own unique characteristics with very unconventional DIY constant directive speakers etc but I won't even be able to come close to making it look that nice.
Hi MFK, yes that is the 7% NanoAcoustic. If you are thinking about it, I'd say to go ahead and get it. It has been great for me! It is nice and bright and resists sagging. With such a huge screen like mine, that is what I worried about the most was that the weight of the material would eventually lead to sagging. You won't be sorry if you try the DIY material from Carl's Place... My whole screen including the wood for the frame was about $360
@@bennyw13 I built the screen in my old theater and found it easy to do even with a curve. I can't see paying retail for a completed screen especially when you have to assemble those anyway. I contacted Carl's by e-mail to see if the 1.1 gain already takes into account the perforation. Stewart screens "1.3 gain" is said to be about 1.17 gain when perforated. Unfortunately they didn't seem to know but my guess is that it is based on a 1.3 gain material and they call it 1.1 as an estimated gain with the perforations. My guess is it's just as good a choice as the Stewart and it's available and reasonable whereas Stewart doesn't like to sell raw material and thus might be impossible or unaffordable to get. Your projector is brighter than the ones I'm looking at but will it do constant image height? The JVC's and Sony's I'm looking at are anamorphic ready meaning they can stretch the image vertically for use with an anamorphic lens. They also have preset zoom so you can do constant image height without the anamorphic lens. Thanks, Monte
Mfk why not go for the epson with its 2.35 ratio cinemascope lense? Anamorphic lenses often slower than a spherical lense, it requires more light and makes shooting low-light scenes more difficult, so be carefull with your decision. 🙂👌
This is an incredible room. I've had the opportunity to watch it being built and to sit in those luxurious chairs and experience the full impact of the space. It is even more incredible than this video can do justice to. It is a total sensory experience. Great job @hstudio3.0 for putting this video together and to @Ben W for his wonderful execution of his dream space.
Its like when I hear the way Americans pronounce "foyer". Being from Canada and having a province that's French speaking, we pronounce it "foy-yay" like the French and not "foy-er" how its spelled. Regional accent differences fascinate me.
No matter how well you insulate, there will be enough breathing room to avoid mold growth. Slight Air will always somehow get in/out. I could be wrong.
Why go to all this trouble in making the room amazing and cheap out on the main channels and no baffle wall? Good news is that it is built in a way that this could be fixed. Nice work otherwise! It's refreshing to see a home cinema do the screen properly big.
Thanks for watching General Cinema, the big screen definately is one of the many highlighta in this room. I think the main channels are awesome but if you want more..there is plenty of room for future upgrades. 👌
Thanks for checking out the theater. We will have to agree to disagree on the main speakers, the Paradigm Prestige speakers are amazing and fill the room with great, crystal clear sound. In my humble opinion there isn’t anything cheap about them, in cost or quality. As for the baffle wall, I think you are meaning a baffle that is flush with the face of the front speakers. If that is specifically what you mean, then yes, I decided not to do that type of baffle. If you are just talking about a sound dampening baffle wall behind the screen, then maybe the pictures weren’t clear enough to show it but the entire back wall is covered in 2” of linacoustic duct liner, floor to ceiling, wall to wall. This is the material most enthusiasts recommend that baffle walls be made of. I built it this way intentionally so that I could have the mini-split behind the screen. I’d never seen a theater with heating or cooling hidden like that and wanted to test it out. I’m extremely pleased with how that turned out, as it is hidden and does an amazing job hearing or cooling the room. For anyone else wanting to heat and cool their HT with a mini-split but that doesn’t want the the wall-wart breaking the room aesthetic, I recommend it.
Is not the Best home theater is the Best home cinema that I ever seen To take advantage of all the wall as a screen, I have seen other more expensive and luxurious home cinemas, with more square feet, but that have a 100 or 120 inch screen that looks like a small painting on the wall.
Not bad.... but so many things done incorrectly which is a shame.. and good speakers to start with but give the customer a chance to save up and buy some better ones soon

Cheers mate. Cool, hopefully I hear from him. I think that's the projector I'll eventually get. I just released a couple of vids on my build if your interested. Love your channel bud keep up the great content :D
Thank you mate ill do my best ans appreciate the support. Shoot 1 vid via email why not 🙂✌
All good buddy. If you're interested just look at my channel. It's a massive file to have to send through email lol.
👌will do
So I came to realize that center speakers are only built the way they are because they have to fit above or below your screen.
Keep On Keeping On 👍
Thanks Randy! It was a lot of planning and hard work but my family and I sure love the result. :)
Your very welcome Randy, glad you enjoyed it, if i may ask whats your fav part?
@@hstudio30 The screen of course what really makes a theater a theater the enormous screen. You gotta have everything else of course but when ask to pick one it's the screen .
Well said! 😉🙈
@@hstudio30 You deserve the Kings Crown 👑 and now you are officially the King 🤴. Thank You again Sr.
Another great video 👍👍
Cheers for watching Gamemaverick1🍻🤙
I love the look of this home cinema. It’s one of the best I’ve seen.
Cheers for watching mate, glad you enjoyed it 🍻✌
Right on Ben Great job on the Home Theater, looking forward for any updates and upgrades on the beautiful Theater...
Thanks Sarkis for Feeding our addiction in our quest to build a perfect home theater great motivational content hopefully I can see my Home Theater featured on your channel...👍👍
Cheers for watching Optimus Prime, glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the kind words. Looking forward to things 🍻🙂
Thanks Optimus! I’m glad you like the theater! It was fun to build but much more fun to use! I’ll keep everyone updated as things get upgraded :)
Another quality tour sarkis! What a massive room, ben you did well to hold back the building for so long while planning. Great job!
Cheers martin! Hope u been well mate, its a glorious room for sure! 👌🍻🙏
Thanks Martin! It was hard to wait so long but it gave me ample time to plan. Before I started, I had every detail planned out except for the superficial stuff like the colors and the wallpaper, etc... As much as I wanted to have it done years sooner, it wouldn't have been nearly as nice if I had started sooner.
niceeeeee
Cheers for watching mfk, ben will answer to your question shortly. Your room setup sounds nice, feel free to share a little more? 🙂👌
Thanks,
Monte
Mfk why not go for the epson with its 2.35 ratio cinemascope lense? Anamorphic lenses often slower than a spherical lense, it requires more light and makes shooting low-light scenes more difficult, so be carefull with your decision. 🙂👌
Monte yes my Pj will do constant height using the preset motorized zoom. I just switch it with a button on the Control4 remote and it’s great :)
Well hello stranger! Still glad you like it and haven't changed your mind :)
This is awesome to hear and thank you for sharring your experience. Im sure it is glorious! Thanks for watching 🙂🍻
Room length ?
6:20 .... _psst_ "faux" is pronounced ' *FO* '
🤣my accent won't allow it, it will sound like PHO. Thank you tho 👌
Its like when I hear the way Americans pronounce "foyer". Being from Canada and having a province that's French speaking, we pronounce it "foy-yay" like the French and not "foy-er" how its spelled. Regional accent differences fascinate me.
Very good room decoration, very good big screen, but unfortunately, the sound system has chosen the wrong design, wasting the previous efforts
Doesn't insulating basement walls give potential for mold growth over time? I always thought you should want your basement a little airy.
Thanks Pipe, glad you enjoyed it 🙏🍺
Not bad.... but so many things done incorrectly which is a shame.. and good speakers to start with but give the customer a chance to save up and buy some better ones soon
Hey James, thanks for watching and can you please elaborate on *whats been done incorrectly* and ben is not a customer..
