eBay has a new tracking for items like postcards called eBay Standard Envelope the tracking your seeing is not like a package when it is scanned
when delivered to your door. eBay Standard Envelope tracking shows delivered
when it hits the last USPS Sorting Center in the destination route and will
take a couple more days to be delivered. They do normally end up arriving.

Wow! I didn’t know this information. Thanks for sharing this with us. I have had a few that have said that the standard envelope was scanned at the post office but it doesn’t say delivered. Luckily no one has contacted me saying that they didn’t receive their card.
I learn to never reach out to customers unless they contact me first with any issues :) Best feedback is no feedback :)
I've seen way too many videos of sellers having problems using ebay's standard envelope system. I won't use it. I send everything first class w/tracking. I probably don't get that many sells in comparison, but I don't have any problems either.
I don’t use it, either KeithElliot! My presumption is most/some of the postcard collectors do or did collect postage stamps.
Using stamps keeps this hobby alive.
Back when I did collect stamps I learned a whole lot about the world (with postcards, too!) and I tried to find as many as I can. Businesses that used and received envelopes that were stamped were the best source! When I was a kid I had a job as a janitor and I would spend my break going through the trash, cutting off all the stamps from the envelopes people used to send in a check to pay their bills. I had thousands of stamps! I did collect postcards then and I started selling my extras. The postcards were more lucrative.
Thanks so much for the message for the buyers. I just sold my first card. Today the buyer said tracking shows it was sent UPS. I told her Saturday, the day after purchase, that it was mailed early Saturday and handed to the USPS clerk, when she emailed asking me to mail USPS. I told her that it had been.
When I arrived home from work today, I looked you up and typed your note from this video except I told her wait until it showed delivered and then wait a couple of days to contact me.
Mark, she didn't give the mail time to get delivered. She contacted me on today, Monday!
Anyway, thanks for your email. I don't have to panic now. 😊 I will follow up in a few days like you do.
She's a scammer. I can't wait to block her. She's harassing me about the tracking. It's legit. She says no.
I would tell her to open a case up with eBay, and the eBay process will be followed. I would then stop messaging/replying to her. Remember if you used eBay Standard Envelope and you end up refunding her you can recover your money, if the Item is Lost or Damaged and it meets the insurance guidelines.
I was hesitant to use the standard envelope. This confirms I don't want to deal with it. Will continue to ship first class. Thanks for the video.

Hi Mark! Did you know that the USPS does not track mail going to PO Boxes (anymore)? I was very disappointed when they stopped doing this. I guess the USPS thinks their Closed Loop system is a sure bet. It’s not!

Things become especially confusing for the customer when they see "delivered" and track their card to a USPS hub a couple hundred miles from their home. They logically conclude their item was misdelivered. We use a friendly copy paste and customize it to each complaint. So far everyone has been pleasant and some have thanked us for the information.
Thank you for a good video. Mailed first 4 ESE orders today... 😐 Most times I prefer real First Class tracking, it is reassuring. Its similar to airlines, you want leather seats or do you want to sit next to suitcases with no oxygen? Don't answer the previous rhetorical question. Have a great week.
I had someone this week tell me I needed to get my facts straight and generally take a rude tone over this. I knew they would get the card soon. Nonetheless I refunded them and blocked them. Did I encourage that person to be a jerk? No, people are born that way.
Correct. People seem to want everything RIGHT NOW! I had a problem in the past with Buyer Remorse and I used to add a (1¢-2¢) item to make the buyers happy, but the high cost of selling the product has put the Kibosh on that! Have you noticed the price of selling on eBay has almost doubled in the last year? I’m paying much more to sell postcards for much less. 6:31 ese has a very great insurance policy for missing or inr. Very simple process to get your money back so you can refund the buyer. Yeah they may be trying to scam you but the insurance is there.
But, can you trust the canned insurance policy provider?
Will never trust the post office with anything of mine to mail even with packages 📦
