Gillespie Bridge and Dam

On this fine day south of Buckeye, AZ, April 2024, we took a ride through the Buckeye Hills to see Gillespie Bridge and Dam. The Dam was washed out in 1993 and never restored. Most of the Gila River gets diverted at this spot into the Gila Bend Canal. AZ ATV Riders, azatvriders.club/.

Been there several times, had a friend that lived there in 93. Big mess with the breach.

Hi Keith, this message is for Jackie. I don’t know if you guys don’t see my messages on FaceTime I found one of Jackie’s mom watercolor (I think is her mom, I did some research and found her obituary and that’s how I found her) Hi Jackie, you don’t know me but I found one of your mother’s watercolor paintings in a thrift shop and would love to send it to you. I go to thrift stores looking for frames because I’m an artist myself and one of your moms watercolor painting was there. She had a card tape to the back of it and did a little bit of research and found you. Hopefully I got the right Jackie. Let me know if you would like me to send it to you.
