Several years ago I was visiting Taiwan to see family where I was introduced to High Mountain Oolong. Before that I always had boring one-dimensional teas from a bag. But this time, as I saw the store owner meticulously warm the teaware and begin brewing the tea, I sensed that something was different. As he poured the tea from the pot to the vessel, I was hit by an incredibly refreshing scent. As I tasted the tea, I immediately realized that there was a world that I had been missing out on. The depth of tea, the changing flavors, and the knowledge and love that was put into the process left a huge impact on me. I was dismayed when I came back, and I could not find a comprehensive resource where I could learn more about tea! (There still aren't many traditional tea stores, and online resources are scarce) It seems times have changed! Thanks for making all these videos! I look forward to trying your teas. :)

Great information! I love your videos Alice, please keep them coming. And the teas you offer on your website are absolutely amazing, and your customer service impeccable. I have ordered lots of samples this spring to try and now have been ordering large bags of my favorites... my husband and I run an Aurora photography lodge in Alaska, so I drink hot tea all day and most of the night. So very glad to have found your website, teas and videos!!! Thank you!
Persimmon blossom is one of my favorites!! Also native cultivar reserve, song zhong, golden monkey first pick.. I have many more to sample... looking forward to trying the Da Yu Lin and also Heritage Beidou
Those are some excellent picks! We think you’ll like the Da Yu Lin and Beidou too. Please let us know if you ever have questions or need recommendations!
In terms of limiting sunlight yes, but there are other factors in play at high elevation, like climate, soil drainage, etc. that all contribute to the tea’s taste.

Nang sumakay kami sa Gandola cable car marami kaming na daanang ganyan Ang mga tanim nila.❤
Thinking about growing some tea plants in Louisiana. Does shade cloth have a similar effect to elevation?
In terms of limiting sunlight yes, but there are other factors in play at high elevation, like climate, soil drainage, etc. that all contribute to the tea’s taste.
Just recently got me some High Mountain Oolong, absolutely love the taste, idk if I can ever go back to regular oolong leaves 😂
Elevation makes all the difference! 🏔🏔
Is it available in india??
We apologize, our products are not currently available in India.
Where can we get oolong?
I hope the drought in Taiwan is not affecting the tea growth and harvesting
So far so good, according to our Taiwan coordinator 👌
