Hiked around and above Bear Lake to Dream Lake many times. Good effects. Looks now like a superhighway from all the foot traffic compared to the early 70's. I think my family even hiked there in the late 50"s when I was a wee lad. Next time your "ghosts" could be a native tribe of your choice! They have been there in spirit for thousands of generations. :0)
I must say, on behalf of myself and everyone else watching, this was absolutely breathtaking to watch! such incredible shots! I'm glad your doing more video's shots like these. Please keep them coming!
Stunning quality and camera angles! I can't stop watching all your videos, they're so helpful. I recently got a Canon T2i and you have definitely guided me in the right direction on MY learning path. Thanks, and keep up the great videos! Nick
Dave, you're getting _really_ good. When I watch your videos I am often impressed by your technical abilities, and am inspired to get out and try to emulate some of your techniques. But this is the first video I've reacted to emotionally. It stands on its own and not simply as a demo. I'm glad you still have a behind-the-scenes video to compliment it though. Thank you.
really nice, i love how in the end your 'shadow' disappeared in front of the lake! the only thing i didn't like was when one shot in slowmo was overlayed by another that was speeded up, that didn't fit in my opinion i would have liked better if there where like 'transparent' timelapses of the tourists instead of the timelapses mixed with the slowmo. Nice Video overall and great location!
hey man i really like your videos and i just want to ask you how your videos look so clear? is it because of your work in post or does it have something to do with your lighting inside? maybe even your camera settings in camera you have or something else? please respond because im just like you were. Im just starting out with a dslr trying to learn it as i go
I'm going to be renting 2 lenses for 2 weeks for a short film. I already have decided to rent a Canon 50mm 1.4 what do you recommend as a less expensive lens? Wide angle or telephoto.
Great video reminds of painting of old homes with the original owners and/or cars/tractors ghosted onto the painting.
