They really are nicely done factory hot rods. Although, with the advent of the coyote, roadrunner…etc. , those years 3 valves are severely wanting. In my mind, they will never attain the status of the early mustangs, the new edge terminators or the new cars today. They were pretty anemic in comparison. Not saleen or rousch fault. Just wrong place and time.

400 hp was pretty darn impressive back in 05. Probably on par with the Vette.
Saleen should have leaned into the resto mod styling the 2005 mustang is known for instead of trying to rice it up.
