Today I have another easy recipe for you...Hong Kong Style Egg Tarts!! I used frozen tart shells in the video which means we only have to make the custard.
★ INGREDIENTS: ★
12 frozen tart shells
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 whole egg
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla
yellow food colouring (optional)

These look delicious! We have something very similar in the UK that we call custard tarts, with nutmeg on the top :)

你好!the egg tarts look amazing! may i use normal 2% milk instead of evaporated milk?
I've used half and half.
I want to make this, but I don't want to do the dishes so am not gonna cook it.

Hi Hannah! I live in Canada and I got my tarts from Superstore. They are the "No Name" brand. LOL I know Tenderflake is another good brand available at Walmart.
