Great stuff again. I just subscribed. A question. My current Dell laptop is a 16:9 aspect ratio, the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 I am about to purchase has a 16:10 aspect ration. I could chose a different new laptop with a 16:9 aspect ratio if there is reason to, but that brings up my question. This Smart View feature on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, will that work the same or better on one of those two aspect ratios, 16:9 or 16:10?

I use a mouse with my Smart View and that stupid icon on the screen settings menu icon I guess that's what you call it pops out and gets in the way every time you can make it go off screen but if you touch it with your cursor it pops back out you can't see it on your big screen is there any Samsung phones that have not got that feature my old Galaxy 7 and 9 didn't have that stupid thing

I couldn't find anything about quality. Does it cas 4k? HDR? Refrescante? Does GoodLock unlocking 4k for DEX also do it for SmartView?

Yep, too bad they removed that in the official released. That's actually what I'm looking for in this update.
I have it on my phone but, for some reason, I cannot find it for my Samsung tablet. There are a few "smart view" apps but none are the official one.
I cannot use the mouse cursor to scroll up and down and navigate the pages of 'Google Discover' on my laptop screen.
App cast, labs and hide notifications in TV are new things added in one ui 5, I just received the update just yesterday in my phone. These are pretty handy features.
In my family, it's my phone that always use to cast screen on TV when we watch movies, so those new features will be very useful for me. Especially that hide notifications features, I no longer had to turn on do not disturb for that.
Yup casting has been available for quit a while
There's also hidden features in smart view that you have to do a special procedure to access. Look up UA-cam videos on using your samsung device as a second display for windows computers and it will explain how to get the developer options for smart view which aren't to be1 confused with the other developer options menus.

What I'm trying to figure out is when I connect the H DMI to the type C it goes to Dex mode I want to screen mirror with no Wi-Fi do the H DMI to type C
why is there so much frame stuttering?? I can stream my steam deck to my vr headset over wifi direct and and I got perfect frame synchronicity!
The problem for me is that when i use smart view the TV becomes very dark and idk how to turn the brightness on the tv up using smart view.

Tried to cast music on to tv with smart view
It works but no matter what i do the music won't go into the next song it stops 1 second before the song finishes so i have to manually go to tbd next song

Samsung smart view is so sad for mirroring. Especially when you're trying to watch a movie. Apple screen mirror just has no delays and the quality doesn't decrease.

Smart view show only my Samsung TV but the other one is Sony KD -55x80j. 55 Inch not appear on the same wifi network but I can see my Sony tv throw the Google home app only?
Hi on Sony TV go to inputs and select screen mirroring and follow the prompts. After that open the smart view toggle, the TV should show up

Photos shared using Smart View on my S23+ looks worse on my tv than the ones shared from S10+. I'm comparing the exact same photos on both devices. Why is that?
I had same happen i use old J3 v and image on tv is incredibly good like sometimes looks HD or 1080 quality the s8s s9s 10s are great phones everyones trying to get ahold of them because they out perform on some features as the latest smartphones

Unfortunately One UI 6.1 ruined app cast for me and ruined Smartview. It is a mess now.

The feature made need turning on your TV.
