I just had a breakthrough 💡 The sentence can start with הסוללה בתלפון - Then ניגמרה לי Is that right? So then the subject is clearly the battery and it is “running out on me”… Is that right? 🤔 So sorry about all these questions!! I know Israelis talk that way-and say יש לי. Or ניגמרה לי at the beginning of the sentence, true? So sorry I’m so slow!
So we say נגמרה לי Instead of batteryניגמרה ל Now that is a little hard for me -maybe because when we say …. יש ל Or …. ניגמרה ל I get confused trying to figure out what comes after the. ל… so I will try to just memorize it instead of figuring it out…. But I think it’s because battery was mentioned- so then I would tend to say ניגמרה לסוללה או ניגמר לטלפון Because the Phone, or the Battery is running out of power-but my power is not ending, you see? So why is it ניגמרה לי Instead of ניגמרה לסוללה ? Is this like you said about the prepositions? I should just memorize it, when it does not make sense to me? I’m sorry for all the repetition! And I’ll try to memorise rather than asking so many questions because I know there’s not time ⏰ for so many questions.
תודה!
This is a useful phrase!
תודה רבה למורה הנפלאה שלי…🍎

I just had a breakthrough 💡
The sentence can start with
הסוללה בתלפון -
Then ניגמרה לי
Is that right? So then the subject is clearly the battery and it is “running out on me”…

at the beginning of the sentence, true?
So sorry I’m so slow!
So we say נגמרה לי
Instead of
batteryניגמרה ל
Now that is a little hard for me -maybe because when we say

Or

I get confused trying to figure out what comes after the. ל… so
I will try to just memorize it instead of figuring it out…. But
I think it’s because battery was mentioned- so then I would tend to say
ניגמרה לסוללה או
ניגמר לטלפון
