Hi Josh! I’ve followed you for a few years. Question - do you think buying followers is a good idea? I’m thinking of buying 500-1000 followers for an Instagram business page that just started. I know they will be fake accounts, but I think there will be some benefit to it.
The only benefit is some basic social proof but it ruins your ability to grow organically. It doesn't make sense in any situation Ive seen, aside from people buying large amounts to try and create a fake appearance (a lot of personal brands do it to make themselves seem more important than they are)
