This is original and that song is based on this raga kadana kuthoohala but I call it as sadana kuthoohala (audience eager)

Definitely a good voice but he has killed the saahityam, Agha Megha Maarutha Srikara, Asurendra etc., One thing is pukka, he cannot become a sastriya sangeetha vidwan, he is only a cinema singer, recording in a studio within 4 walls, singing each line by line as per the directions of Music Director. Money and fame can be achieved but what about reaching GOD,s abode. My sincere advice to non-telugu singers, first learn Telugu Language, understand the meaning of each word and then sing, adjust the rhythm accordingly. In the name of fusion, nonsense is sung, no respect for tradition, I doubt whether it is Kadanakuthuhalam or kadanavikrutha rupam. I am sorry to comment, in the name of fusion, traditional compositions, now a days, are being spoiled. Our sangeetham is a priceless treasure, sir, let us not spoil.
Sahityam is not telugu, its sanskrit.

Excellent way to murder a beautiful composition. There is something called "Kavi Hridayam" and "Bhavam" which are below 0 in this horrendous performance. Flautist is very talented. That part, I cannot disagree. Karthik, please stick to film music. Thanks.
