Like that Skil kept the user serviceability of the corded, in the new cordless. Is pretty great, & honestly, one of the features why love using a corded skil circ saw. Able to repair & replace pretty much anything in the saw & the parts are easy to find as well👍🏻. It’s great that can walk into a store, pickup a part, & be back up & running w/in in hour; instead of days on a competitor if have to mail saw into a service center. Not that giving up my Milwaukee cordless or anything; but certainly not giving up my corded skil either😉 Cheers✌🏼
Looks to be an amazing saw. I just bought the Milwaukee m18 rear handle and love it. It was an easy choice since I have a ton of 9.0 and 12.0 batteries.
At the tool repair shop I worked at years ago lost count of how many cords and switches I replaced on Skilsaw and other saw machines. Both of those take a beating at jobsites. Now have the cordless Skilsaw Worm Drive ordered from Aceme tool-the only tool place that had the machines in stock!Got the impression these cordless machines are very popular with the places running out of stock.
True. Worm drives aren't as efficient as other gear arrangements (hypoid). But they can transmit more torque. I like that it's a proven design. Power is mostly about the batteries. How many cells more so than volts.
You’re the very best out there in reviewing. Your tremendous knowledge, as well as your personality keep a viewer drawn to your episodes. I sincerely hope a major player picks you up and puts you on a TV show for home improvement, or reviewing. Your awesome I hope you reap the benefits! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and may be the best ever! Bob Boar’s Head
I do love the design of the skilsaw. I picked up a makita a while ago and use it but i do wish i got that skil saw, mainly because of how its positioned. May get one in the future if i see it in a sale
Man this video really convinced me what a quality brand/ tool the Skilsaw is. I don’t need it but I’ll go on amazon and some of the kits that have a Skiljigsaw and Skildrill and skillimpact etc. and expect the same quality. Thanks Skil for the Skilsaw Did I trigger you? If you can’t beat em join em right, I’m tired of explaining this to people so I’m embracing the ignorance as well 😭
The dust collector is nice-with this cordless machine don't have to look for outlets to run the vacuum and saw!Esp at my house where outlets are limited.
There’s a bit of irony in the fact that we finally have amazing cordless tools and we replaced the thin cord with an umbilical cord for dust collection. I get it it’s just one those truths in life I find it a bit poetic. Can’t ever win 100%
Stanley Black & Decker owns Dewalt. Corporate offices are in Towson Maryland. Not to mention we have around 30 manufacturing facilities in the US… Yes I work for them. Proudly! Proto...Irwin...Lenox ...craftsman (which will be made in Fort Worth very soon)
Vince you always do a really good job in demo. I like to see a tool fight with the others and also I believe they can make a full size router with that battery design just my thoughts.
Cool concept but much quicker to just sweep up, not gonna cut where i don’t want it to get dusty even with the vacuum because it doesn’t get all the dust/ debris. Cost, carrying it inside, setting up, and defeats point of cordless because you have a 2” hose. My $0.02
What's the cost of the Skill Saw? I would love to try one out. I am use to using a standard 7-1/4" saw but I do have a Makita worm drive saw. Like the man said it is side heavy and I do not like that at all. Thanks for the heads up. Great video.
I own a maintenance company and I am a one battery platform guy I wonder if they will bring the rest of the tools the other manufacturers have to the table I am a skill guy on my saws and I love mag 77s. I also love the new skill sawzall with the vibration dampener. I would just like to see a set of impacts and drills
I’m researching. I currently have a few m12 things, and am realizing that I can’t go wrong sticking with the platform. At the same time though, it must feel bad to be spending all of that money to be at the forefront of technology for dewalt and wooky, to only be 1 or two years ahead of much cheaper competition.
His speech about the worm drive was just marketing nonsense. Worm drives aren't as efficient. Check out the differentials in cars. No worm gears to be found
Look at Vince preemptively sell videos during filming another... impressive since may harse constructive criticism before, you made adjustments and that's what bosses do... I'm mikita dealing with saws, but skill trying to become samurai... lol but pretty decent 2nd place
Definitely an amazing tool. Easily the best. The ecosystem argument, one I’m normally not big on, is in effect here for me though, as it wouldn’t make sense to forego two additional Makita batteries for this. If I used this all the time though, SCREW ECOSYSTEMS I will gladly charge this separately every day
I hate clickbait titles too. I’ve sworn off so many channels because of them. I don’t know why I give Vince a free pass. I guess because the videos are content I’d like to see no matter what the title is, whereas most clickbait is stuff that I would never have watched. Having said that I do prefer to make that decision myself, and greatly appreciate straightforward titling, anything else I see as sacrificing regular viewers in an effort to gain more/new ones/more views...VCG gets leeway from me until a more egregious situation takes place. Thing is his titles aren’t normal clickbait, he just doesn’t always explain how he reaches the conclusion in the title, so that’s something
i suppose Skilsaw in USA is same as Flex in EUROPE? or im wrong? Because "skill" brand is very bad and cheap holland/china brand in europe. This name likeness can be very confusing in Europe...
Skill also has a had a very cheap line of consumer grade power tools here in the states also. This line of circular saws is meant for professionals. Same name.
Pretty cool. Shout out to RR in the background
Yeah that’s cool. Noticed Kyle back there
Same

Thanks for the feedback A! Skilsaw has always been my go to. Stay tuned for a skil 12V and 20V tools are good quality as well video
That is a nice saw hardly any dust when you have extractor on great demo!
I loved it. From the saw gods to Vince's hands.
Looks to be an amazing saw. I just bought the Milwaukee m18 rear handle and love it. It was an easy choice since I have a ton of 9.0 and 12.0 batteries.
I need a blade left 7.25 inch saw in my arsenal. This looks like the one for me!
Nothing beats a Skilsaw
At the tool repair shop I worked at years ago lost count of how many cords and switches I replaced on Skilsaw and other saw machines. Both of those take a beating at jobsites. Now have the cordless Skilsaw Worm Drive ordered from Aceme tool-the only tool place that had the machines in stock!Got the impression these cordless machines are very popular with the places running out of stock.
Best outro on UA-cam.

Hey Vince thanks again for your very keen & useful observations.
We need a shoot out of all the cordless rear handles!!

Wow, thank you so much Bob I sincerely appreciate that! I hope you and yours have a happy thanksgiving and holiday season as well! Heres to 2020 !!
Thank you!
I do love the design of the skilsaw. I picked up a makita a while ago and use it but i do wish i got that skil saw, mainly because of how its positioned. May get one in the future if i see it in a sale
Kyle from RR making a cameo
Good video! Would have been great to see the guts on all the competitor’s saws. Will there be a TTR(s) in the future?
I love making more money!!!
Thanks Vince!!
Nice, I hope to see it at my local lowes.
Dude, you are awsome.
Dam kids in a candy store. I'm jealous. Nice saw to.
i've had the 110 volt sidewinder all MAG for a few years now and i've had zero issues with it .
Great video Vince
Thanks Antonio!!
Great info.

We got something coming for you FEE!!
looking good Vince!!!!
Great video Vance
Thanks Cecil!!
Could I swap any magnesium housing parts onto the cordless? Or will they make a magnesium model? Because magnesium
I have that "flex" extractor
It's awesome
Vince that thing is sick!!!
More!!!!!!plz
Vince, IDEA. From the saw God's to you, the top two. Or somethin catchy. Skilsaw's worm drive vs DeWalt's rear handle. For the crown.
Keep up the great work that you do, finding the good deals for the VCG Gang!🧰👍🧰
❤️
The dust collector is nice-with this cordless machine don't have to look for outlets to run the vacuum and saw!Esp at my house where outlets are limited.
Congrats big things
I'm trying to buy this saw in amazon. The blade is not diablo. It's now skilsaw. Is it okay? I'm just asking it seems that things changed a bit now.
skilsaw #1!!!
There’s a bit of irony in the fact that we finally have amazing cordless tools and we replaced the thin cord with an umbilical cord for dust collection. I get it it’s just one those truths in life I find it a bit poetic. Can’t ever win 100%
Dust collection was coming regardless. Juxtapose that with having in addition to a dust collection - also a cord.
You the bomb, baby!!!!! Getting me this big dog right away!!!!
Leave saws to Skil saw. Sorry team Teal but I got to salute this one.
How is against Dewalt 60v? Notice they don’t have one. I love mine!
Well the rear handle Milwaukee beats the flex volt so that’s all there is to know
I’ll stick with my tools that are made by an American company not a Chinese company. 😎
Jason Beard what company is that
TTI owns Milwaukee. Based in Hong Kong.
There's a reason that circular saws are called skillsaws. They have been innovators and made dependable tools for years.
Please make a track saw skilsaw
Vince you always do a really good job in demo. I like to see a tool fight with the others and also I believe they can make a full size router with that battery design just my thoughts.
Nice lookin saw
I wish needed one...

Oh hi Kyle @RR Building
HOLY BLADE BRAKE
can you put the BIG FOOT ADAPTER on it? the 10 inch beast!
What's the cost of the Skill Saw? I would love to try one out. I am use to using a standard 7-1/4" saw but I do have a Makita worm drive saw. Like the man said it is side heavy and I do not like that at all. Thanks for the heads up. Great video.
Robert Cox Home Depot price 399.99

I’ll keep my corded ones.
Yeah, me too. My corded makita hypoid magnesium is a beast. Won’t be getting rid of that ANY time soon.
I want to pick up the Cordless Mag 77
You should have told the skil reps how much you like Milwaukee tools and there version of a worm drive circular saw. 😂
That red-bearded guy has a YT channel too
Howie Z - Yep. RR Builders.
Yo también quiero una de esas pero quién sabe, talvez tarden mucho para llegar a Argentina
the motor might be lighter but its still twice the weight of the sidewinder magnesiums.
Are flex and skill saw in same ownership or is it just us distribution?
Wow at how much smaller the cordless mag 77 motor is compared to the corded mag 77 motor and cordless has more power with a smaller motor very cool
I want one
Shout out to Sasquatch on the background.
😂😂😂
Inside of competitors. Wanna see
Did R&R show you all his neat tools and let you know how cool they are 🤣 I think that guy likes to toot his own horn a bit lol
MAybe R&R obly guy to bring his own tools and trailer tona road show , show off his 300 hammer and square 🤣
I will say in person he's an awesome dude, real friendly and super intelligent! He's good people, you'd like him Robert!
His speech about the worm drive was just marketing nonsense. Worm drives aren't as efficient. Check out the differentials in cars. No worm gears to be found
dropn loads true . But work drives give you torque over direct drive
falchulk hellical cut gears which are similar concept, are used in cars
You got this guy saying how superior the worm drive is. But it obviously isn't.
falchulk how stupid would it be to have gears on a skillsaw?
Answer very.
falchulk what analogy?
I explained that work drive gives you more torque.
That makes them better in saws btw
1st awesome
I'll say tgid again. If power is present I will use a corded saw on a station and use battery saw elsewhere. So corded aren't going nowhere...
Look at Vince preemptively sell videos during filming another... impressive since may harse constructive criticism before, you made adjustments and that's what bosses do...
I'm mikita dealing with saws, but skill trying to become samurai... lol but pretty decent 2nd place
We took it heart Jerome
Sorry makita. Only $50 more for this. And dust collection. And mo powah.
Definitely an amazing tool. Easily the best. The ecosystem argument, one I’m normally not big on, is in effect here for me though, as it wouldn’t make sense to forego two additional Makita batteries for this.
If I used this all the time though, SCREW ECOSYSTEMS I will gladly charge this separately every day
So I couldn't help but see the ego logo on the shirt ..do they also make the ego products?
Parent company produces Skilsaw, ego , Skil, and Flex
I also believe Kobalt tools is another under the parent company chervon
✌♥️
$399 and only one battery seems a little too expensive at least throw an extra battery in
Quality has its price
Tool companies don't want me to watch videos with clickbait titles
BROUGHT TO YOU BY CLICKBAIT TITLE HATER GANG
