I think my biggest problem in pushing to 40 by using all my waveplate is what to even spend it on, since a lot of the things you farm at 30 just give kinda shit drops (Like tacet fields are the biggest waste to spend on and give you borderline nothing). Seems a lot smarter to save the resources and spend them from 40 onwards to get to 45 faster for the weapon. Plus you also get better drops and can unlock the latter skills of characters.
Im doing all ( trace mats for my main team and tacet fields for some tuners and hpefuly some nice main stats aswell got lucky on the havoc ones for my rover ^-^@@Jenazadp
Either way the farming you are doing now you would be doing with increased rates instead, even if you only level on the daily quests, the stamina you get normally you still have to spend somewhere.
it kinda depends. I did a math and you do not actually gain much by saving waveplates till 40. The main reason is that at 40 some of the drops gain 25-50 % increase and 20 solvent do allow you to reach 40 20 WP are 9 k UL exp you earn 3 800 per day /2k commsion/ 1.8 from WP spend/ thats 2.5 day difference. conclusion - it doesnt matter in a long term. second concusion - focus on finishing all the quest + expolration cos UL exp dont depend on level :) I personally intend contrary to all ytubers advice to prefarm weapon and skill materials + bosses for my main units. Then when I hit 40 I can have smoother transition.
I considered dumping all solvent and some asterite to get to 40 early, but I completely pulled back on that with the tacet field rework of 1.1 If you are f2p, low spender or a person who would never top up for waveplates, absolutely hold back on those resources now. You'll potentially reap far more with the rewards rework soon than being UL40 now, which regarding >timegated< content gets you maybe 6 crests in the current tower for like 150 asterite (I am at 14/30 crests at lvl 60). Next tower reset you'll be UL40 naturally as well, so barely anything lost there. The holograms are static, it doesn't matter when you clear them, they are one time rewards and don't refresh currently.
no, it doesnt matter. best thing is just use them once you get to lvl 30 and done the main story and side quests. gets you to 40 faster so its easier to do the end game content that refreshes in 6 days
They aren't increasing the rewards of tacit fields. They are just adding a event in which u get echo xp that's all. They aren't changing the tacit field echo xp drop for all future versions, the Chinese translation is clear on this . The English one is a bit wrong

Nice vid, was looking for this! I saved up 45 crystal solvents and will probably go to town with those for the 2x echo drop event. I started using echo upgrade materials at level 30 because i felt it was a waste to upgrade anything other than golds... currently have 5 characters build with good echo's. Even got a rlly good set for Yinlin once she drops. PS: Havoc MC absolutely slaps!!!!
Another thing worth mentioning is that after maxing traces at UL 40 the next levelup needs weekly boss materials, so even if you rush 50 that is a hard hold-back since you can only farm up to 9 weekly at lv 40, if you are lucky where at lv 50 it probably becomes 3 guaranteed
Yes but even if you can't lv up your characters when you reach UL50. It's still better for any reward that requires waveplate. And it's not like the mobs will be too hard to kill since at that point you will have a decent dps already. Low UL ppl who are more casual won't be UL50 anytime soon as they take more time and most of them just reach 30~35
Furthermore, usually* in games like this...the stronger you can get, the stronger the enemies become....so yeah, you have more attack...but that's because now you NEED more attack.

@@Natsuke1104 Doesn't matter...the amount of currency you get does not make up for the increased amount of time / resources increase to raise and play around with any new unit (and you will need to do so as better units come along) Especially now at the early stages it is a good thing to play around with a lot of units in order to know what you really like. I've been playing gatchas for quite a while...a see more people regretting leveling up too fast and not being able to keep up than people regretting keeping their "world level" lower. The amount of premium currency you'll get from rushing is not that great...and that's assuming you'll be able to beat the "end game" every time...for most people that is just not true in the long run.

I'm at level 37 rushing to 40 for all the reasons you mentioned. It's mainly to get the maximum number of astrites & rewards in tower of adversity and Somnoire before they reset for the next patch. LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!
for the min-maxers out there if you already got all xp not related to spending energy ( map exploration, quests, etc) it makes almost no difference. here are 2 scenarios: imagine you need 20000 xp to reach level X. On the game rate every time you spend 20 energy you get 150 xp so 1800xp daily (240 x 150 / 20). Dailies also award you 2000 XP Scenario 1: you hold on to energy items - day 1: 3800 (240 energy badly spent) - day 2: 7600 (240 energy badly spent) - day 3: 11400 (240 energy badly spent) - day 4: 15200 (240 energy badly spent) - day 5: 19000 (240 energy badly spent) - day 6: 21000 + 240 energy - level X! here we spent 240 * 5 = 1200 energy not optimally our balance of energy eficiency is 240 - 1200 = -960 Scenario 2 : get as fast as you can - day 1: 2000 dailies + 18000 xp (2400 energy badly spent) - day 2 - 6: 240 * 5 = 1200 energy well spent here our balance of energy is 1200 - 2400 = -1200 the difference of efficiency between the two in this scenario is 240 or only a day worth of energy Here are some things you might pay attention: - echo farming = like the video says if you enjoy deleting your map you might have more fun doing this soone - tower = time gated content, so if you want to earn everything before reset you might want speed things up even if will incur a loss of energy
Saving solvents is a meme, any stamina you "waste" rushing to 40 is stamina you also waste every day you are not 40. In the end the real weight you have to do is whatever the equivalent stamina to the daily union XP from the daily quest and guidebook is vs time wasted farming Echos without the level 20 Data Bank. There's also the (very tiny) amount of extra rewards you might be able to squeeze from the tower of adversity if you have your Resonators at 70 before the rotation ends.
Tuners are definitely not the gatekeep I think personally. Echo XP and farming BiS Echos are ridiculous, Maybe you got extremely lucky with your echoes or you arent min-maxing their substats.
is there an acutal increase to tacet fields, cause you're getting 1 or 2 gold echo tubes from lvl 30-40. if you're at level 40 you should at least get more than 2, else it's not an increase, it's just a higher chance to get 2. which they fix in a week or so anyways according to their dev diary, but I'm still curious.
I started over. Have hit data 14 experience and not advanced to sol3 yet. Almost have enough to ascend all my dudes before sol3 be insta level them all and weapons and etc.
As a F2P and right now I'm at 37 and have around 40 waveplate cubes to spend, I really not sure if I have to rushed it or not. If I'm using all those cubes probably I'm gonna reach lv 40. On the otherside I also want to save it up and used it when I'm already reach Union 40 because I know they have better drop. So I'm in a big dilemma right now. Rather used it all now and reach 40 faster, or wait a bit longer and got to lv.40 naturally so then you can use all those waveplates after reach Union 40. 😅
5:24 that's a pretty bad take to me. not everyone is on their A game in every fight. Plus there are just some times where you'll get hit from enemies off screen whenever there are too many. Sure it's not as great as others, but 15% damage reduction is pretty nice.
it's nice on its own but in a team setting it's completely obsolete. Bell Borne echo on a heal or support unit gives you much better damage reduction, does damage and gives other teammates an attack bonus. Compared to Chixia's 30% damage bonus it's almost not worth the waveplates to farm
Just wait till 1.1 update when they fix a lot of stuff and then 40 will be worth. Now? Nah… during your rush you will get even more benefits along the way.
Calcharo's 2nd passive is massive because it allows you to face tank some damage instead of dodging, which is a massive decrease in his limited burst up time. People forget enemies actually deal damage in this game
The thing is, the game just came out, there is more sol phases to go through and main way of leveling up is supposed to be quests which they will add. I don't think people should act like their asses are on fire ngl.
Tacent fields were not mentioned to be getting increased drops for materials in 1.1. They are only increasing the rewards from events etc but not tacet fields.

I have a UL38 and a UL 23. I completed everything by UL 38 and wanted a second account to build different characters. I can also coop with myself to assist the alt account or steal resources from the map of the alt account. Both accounts had equal luck on the banners, hitting max pity or 70+ pity on banners.
Hmmm I am not sure I would agree 100%. If you want to pull off 3 heavy attacks of his ult you don't have the opportunity to dodge much. On the other hand 15% dmg reduction is not that much. Some kind of stability instead would have been cool imo.

so I was lvl39 yesterday. It was always the biggest on the list in co-op whenever I checked. I didn't skip a single Waveplate recovered and used Azurite 4/6 every day to push to 40 asap. And today what I've seen - there are people lv43 already. I just wonder how is it even possible since I did 100% of the map and all of the quests, lv45 of "Battle Pass". Kinda weird. Seems there is a glitch/bug here on obtaining extra EXP or idk how some people did that.
@@Reiner5200 yep. I did hit 40 today. But to hit 43 it's not enough to spend everything even with daily 6/6 azurite refreshes and all of the items given. And I guess there is no donate options to get stamina cubes?

Don't sleep on purple echo, it's early in the game and it's not easy to get a yellow echo with the right main stats then you have to roll for the good sub stats. It is very costly to upgrade gold. Most of the time you don't have 5 yellow echos with good stats. Having 2-3 lv 20 purple echo with very good sub stats is perfectly fine at this point. You can clear everything except for the middle tower.
Rushing is only a thing at the beginning. After a few week, everyone will be maxed world and be maxing all characters. So all you will be doing is abyss every month.
I'll wait U40 and 1.1 update to use my cubes, if the buff they talked about is good, i'll spend all my 40 cubes on that because i have 0 tuner and echo exp left.
why wait? its best to pop them now, get to 40 and do the Tower of adversity now and get those rewards before the store refreshes, you'll get more out of it
Not an enhanced gold/purple drop rate, which stays at 80/20. The enhanced drop rate of 100% on lvl 20 is for echo drops after killing an overlord or calamity and even this is limited to 15 total before its used up. This means you have 15 tries with a 100% chance to obtain an echo after defeating a boss while this echo will be golden 80% of the time.

dude i have zero issues with tuners like im un34 and i have 450 tuners(5*) but my main issue is the tubes , i got zero * tubes now and i am desperate for them
are 5 stars echo drops guaranteed on Level 40 from the tacet fields? cause i did some tacet fields and all i got is a bunch of 4 star echos ... btw another thing he didn't mention is the Databank trade. once your level 40 you can trade all of your 4 star trash echos into potential 5 stars with an 80% chance. which has higher value than doing it now and gamble all your echos 5 to 1 to get another 4 star 50% of the time.
I am UL 37 and not sure what to spend the nice energy items they gave us on. Do you think I should do echo exp tacit fields or wait until the echo event? I have gotten most of my character talents as high as I can, and weapons, too.
Hey I've got a little offtopic of a question. I used the sequences on my Spectro Rover, because I thought they would just share it between, now I can't get to Sequence 2. when should you use your free tanks of stamina? In some games you want to wait certain level to maximize their effectiveness. But does it really matter if I use a month of real life time and then use the tanks or otherway around? I cant see the arguments from either side really. Can you shread some light on this?
Yea it’s the same, you just sped up the process of getting to a higher level so that you can use your daily waveplates more efficiently. It’s the same amount of progress, just how fast you get there would be different
Tacet fields are a good example: At UL30 you get 1 golden echo exp item, while at UL40 you get 2 golden echo exp items. Bosses drop more aswell. Basically everything waveplate related gets much more efficient.
anyone have any tips on how to get to UL 40? i just hit 35 and it seems like i have slowed down exponentially. Ive done all the quests, "got to data bank 20" and explored about 40% of all my areas. I don't know what else i should be doing to get more union level, as everything just seems to give such a minuscule amount at this time.
Most exp you'll be getting for these later levels will be from waveplate and daily tasks which is 3800 so at least 3800 xp everyday from waveplate spending and daily task
ascensions and talents. use them after you finished main story and side quests. i found that hella worth, got my characters maxed out and i farmed for the next world ascension too so i can get everything up to 70 tomorrow when i get to lvl 40
kinda dislike how they implement echo. introducing 5* echo so early in the game, makes it so easy to farm them (with data bank level and echo pity). imho it's kind of a waste of content. not even 2 weeks ppl already finished the content. they could make it that 4* echo are important till union lvl 40 then introduce 5* echo. or at least make echo like for 2 months content before we reach lvl 15 data bank. however, ppl who want to "complete" or finish content fast, don't like my opinion hahaha
Purple kind of is garbage sadly. I got a godroll purple. Mainstat 22% energy regen instead of 30%. Attack 66 instead of 100. 1 less substat. Sure it might be good for a while, but as soon as you get a gold with 2 or 3 good substats you're getting a net-gain by switching to gold. And that's with a god roll purple. What about the average purple? 1 good gold sub stat is better.

It's def smarter but also tacit field stuff is still always viable. Could always do a bit of material farming mixed with tacit before 40

40 is huge. just hit 38. I want that 40 though. With the free 1200 energy they gave us, that's roughly 9k union level exp.

we should get those increases on 50 and 60 too, that's where I want to see how efficient the echo farm is, but should take months at this rate.

Tuners are definitely not the gatekeep I think personally. Echo XP and farming BiS Echos are ridiculous, Maybe you got extremely lucky with your echoes or you arent min-maxing their substats.
I keep getting the most bs substats ever, and I do it one at a time 😂.

is there an acutal increase to tacet fields, cause you're getting 1 or 2 gold echo tubes from lvl 30-40. if you're at level 40 you should at least get more than 2, else it's not an increase, it's just a higher chance to get 2.

People are sleeping on purple echoes. I think they are better than gold ones because they requaire less exp and you can actually get good substats.
In fact my mortefi has a 3 cost 4 star lvl 20 that has fusion dmg bonus and crit dmg and crit rate
I started over. Have hit data 14 experience and not advanced to sol3 yet. Almost have enough to ascend all my dudes before sol3 be insta level them all and weapons and etc.
I'm taking my time and at the same time, trying to get to union lvl 40 asap w/o using the solvents before the tacet drop buff event coming soon.
Saving solvents for double drop events is pointless, the double droprate is limited to only 3 runs a day like they did with the Training Simulator.
As a F2P and right now I'm at 37 and have around 40 waveplate cubes to spend, I really not sure if I have to rushed it or not. If I'm using all those cubes probably I'm gonna reach lv 40. On the otherside I also want to save it up and used it when I'm already reach Union 40 because I know they have better drop. So I'm in a big dilemma right now. Rather used it all now and reach 40 faster, or wait a bit longer and got to lv.40 naturally so then you can use all those waveplates after reach Union 40. 😅
5:24 that's a pretty bad take to me. not everyone is on their A game in every fight. Plus there are just some times where you'll get hit from enemies off screen whenever there are too many. Sure it's not as great as others, but 15% damage reduction is pretty nice.
it's nice on its own but in a team setting it's completely obsolete. Bell Borne echo on a heal or support unit gives you much better damage reduction, does damage and gives other teammates an attack bonus. Compared to Chixia's 30% damage bonus it's almost not worth the waveplates to farm

Calcharo's 2nd passive is massive because it allows you to face tank some damage instead of dodging, which is a massive decrease in his limited burst up time. People forget enemies actually deal damage in this game

Tacent fields were not mentioned to be getting increased drops for materials in 1.1. They are only increasing the rewards from events etc but not tacet fields.

I have a UL38 and a UL 23. I completed everything by UL 38 and wanted a second account to build different characters. I can also coop with myself to assist the alt account or steal resources from the map of the alt account. Both accounts had equal luck on the banners, hitting max pity or 70+ pity on banners.
The reason the damage sky rocket is because you a bonus damage% with different to different enemy level compared to yours
Don't forget Chixia/Danjin's A2 are conditional while Jiyan is for all intents and purposes unconditional.

Hmmm I am not sure I would agree 100%. If you want to pull off 3 heavy attacks of his ult you don't have the opportunity to dodge much. On the other hand 15% dmg reduction is not that much. Some kind of stability instead would have been cool imo.

so I was lvl39 yesterday. It was always the biggest on the list in co-op whenever I checked. I didn't skip a single Waveplate recovered and used Azurite 4/6 every day to push to 40 asap.
And today what I've seen - there are people lv43 already. I just wonder how is it even possible since I did 100% of the map and all of the quests, lv45 of "Battle Pass". Kinda weird.
Seems there is a glitch/bug here on obtaining extra EXP or idk how some people did that.

@@Reiner5200 yep. I did hit 40 today. But to hit 43 it's not enough to spend everything even with daily 6/6 azurite refreshes and all of the items given. And I guess there is no donate options to get stamina cubes?
@@GrimCatPiano At lv.40 they give you another 10 cubes of 60 stamina each, also today they gave away an additional 20 cubes, consequently here is the 2lv difference and maybe they did the daily+stamina also at dayone
Don't sleep on purple echo, it's early in the game and it's not easy to get a yellow echo with the right main stats then you have to roll for the good sub stats. It is very costly to upgrade gold. Most of the time you don't have 5 yellow echos with good stats. Having 2-3 lv 20 purple echo with very good sub stats is perfectly fine at this point. You can clear everything except for the middle tower.

Purple boss echoes are bad but not elite and below. You'd be a fool to sleep on them when trying to build multiple teams

Rushing is only a thing at the beginning. After a few week, everyone will be maxed world and be maxing all characters. So all you will be doing is abyss every month.

Just getting to rank 19 is 80/20, Rank 20 is 100% enhanced drop rate.
Not an enhanced gold/purple drop rate, which stays at 80/20.
The enhanced drop rate of 100% on lvl 20 is for echo drops after killing an overlord or calamity and even this is limited to 15 total before its used up.
This means you have 15 tries with a 100% chance to obtain an echo after defeating a boss while this echo will be golden 80% of the time.

btw another thing he didn't mention is the Databank trade.
once your level 40 you can trade all of your 4 star trash echos into potential 5 stars with an 80% chance.
which has higher value than doing it now and gamble all your echos 5 to 1 to get another 4 star 50% of the time.
The same rate applies to Tacet Fields. Data bank 18 will give you a 50/50chance of getting a gold echo.
I am UL 37 and not sure what to spend the nice energy items they gave us on. Do you think I should do echo exp tacit fields or wait until the echo event? I have gotten most of my character talents as high as I can, and weapons, too.

Hey I've got a little offtopic of a question. I used the sequences on my Spectro Rover, because I thought they would just share it between, now I can't get to Sequence 2. (ive used 2 on spectro and 1 on havoc). Can I change these somehow or will I get a 4th one at some point?

But they are easier to get tho, worst case scenario you get 3 4* character 1 5* and 4 weapons, getting a specific one is another thing but it will happen eventually.
Is a character even guaranteed after you get a weapon? I have found myself getting several 4 star weapons instead of characters and it's annoying.

when should you use your free tanks of stamina? In some games you want to wait certain level to maximize their effectiveness. But does it really matter if I use a month of real life time and then use the tanks or otherway around? I cant see the arguments from either side really. Can you shread some light on this?
Yea it’s the same, you just sped up the process of getting to a higher level so that you can use your daily waveplates more efficiently. It’s the same amount of progress, just how fast you get there would be different
Tacet fields are a good example: At UL30 you get 1 golden echo exp item, while at UL40 you get 2 golden echo exp items.
Bosses drop more aswell.
Basically everything waveplate related gets much more efficient.
But you can use those free tanks of stamina right now and get there faster and use the daily waveplates on tacet fields, it’s the same thing.

anyone have any tips on how to get to UL 40? i just hit 35 and it seems like i have slowed down exponentially. Ive done all the quests, "got to data bank 20" and explored about 40% of all my areas. I don't know what else i should be doing to get more union level, as everything just seems to give such a minuscule amount at this time.
Basically most xp is from refreshes from astrite or the cubes, you arent doing anything wrong
Most exp you'll be getting for these later levels will be from waveplate and daily tasks which is 3800 so at least 3800 xp everyday from waveplate spending and daily task

ascensions and talents. use them after you finished main story and side quests. i found that hella worth, got my characters maxed out and i farmed for the next world ascension too so i can get everything up to 70 tomorrow when i get to lvl 40

kinda dislike how they implement echo. introducing 5* echo so early in the game, makes it so easy to farm them (with data bank level and echo pity). imho it's kind of a waste of content. not even 2 weeks ppl already finished the content. they could make it that 4* echo are important till union lvl 40 then introduce 5* echo. or at least make echo like for 2 months content before we reach lvl 15 data bank. however, ppl who want to "complete" or finish content fast, don't like my opinion hahaha
Purple is not garbage xD beside the 4 cost ones.
Purple kind of is garbage sadly. I got a godroll purple. Mainstat 22% energy regen instead of 30%. Attack 66 instead of 100. 1 less substat. Sure it might be good for a while, but as soon as you get a gold with 2 or 3 good substats you're getting a net-gain by switching to gold. And that's with a god roll purple. What about the average purple? 1 good gold sub stat is better.
