Kristina - I think you need to use a swifter to dust both the foil and the card before foiling them. That will probably help eliminate the dust specs you have on your toner runs
Hi Kristina, you may want to watch Nancy Stamps (I think that’s it). She has great tips and tricks for foiling. One of the things she recommends is letting it cool and not taking the foil off immediately.
Wow Kristina you did it and they are fantastic....See you can do it work with foiling....Nancy Cards has lots of video's on foil. the paper and tips and trick's pat
Wow! Both of the cards are so stunning. I used the super glossy embossing technique to make my husband's Valentine's card this year. I really like the way that it looks. I don't do a lot of foiling and I'm not sure why. You have inspired me to get out all my foiling supplies and create a card. I really need to watch this video again.
I bought the Mini Minc oh so long ago and I also bought a bunch of solid black toner sheets, I think they were by Heidi Swapp too. Great for die cutting and then foiling! Love your tests on all of these pretty sheets! FUN!
This is awesome! I wondered if this could be done. Something I do before I foil using the Fuse is a tip that Gina K told us is to wipe the back of the foil and your card with a swiffer cloth. This works so well. I used to get places that didn't foil but after doing this it seems like I get perfect foiling all the time.
Don’t know if mentioned in original live but Gina K uses swiffer cloth, she wipes the toner sheet & then the back of foil to wipe away any dust, pet hairs etc for clean transfers Love your creations, ❤ from Melbourne Australia
I’ve never had much success with my Mini Minc. I almost bought the Fuse but then when I heard it’s just a Mini Minc relabeled, I’m really glad I waited. I should really try using my Mini Minc again… in my case, it’s probably “user error”.
I saw these on your Instagram and thought they were beautiful. Like you I have a love hate relationship with foiling. I have the machine from Anna Griffin that’s how long ago I tried foiling. Every piece turned out horribly so I never tried again.
The toner sheet is meant to be foiled. But I don’t see why you couldn’t use it like regular printed paper as well and do some stamping and heat embossing.
Why did you not print the Happy Birthday greeting and it's border on the Toner Card? Does the Toner Card have some kind of special ink that would get stuck in your printer? I'm a little bit confused. I have never seen such materials before, we don't have them in my country.
The colorful toner cardstock is full edge to edge toner. If you foiled over the toner paper, you would get a solid foil background, no design. That's why you have to use the leftover foil bits that already have the design taken away (the clear areas on the foil sheet). Only the remaining foil will transfer to the toner sheet. Does that make sense?

I really love that you show the trial and error of the processes. It’s how we learn.

Thanks , Kristina! I had no idea how the colored toner sheets from Picket Fence should be used. Very cool!
Your cards are amazing! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for showing the little struggles you encountered. It makes it seem less daunting to the rest of us!

Kristina -- Foil has a grain... oftentimes if you are getting wrinkles you have the foil grain in the wrong direction.
Genius! I love it. Thanks.
I love these cards!
merci Kristina, I just watched your video again with the subtitles, it’s much better! thank you for your quick intervention👍

Neat experiments. I liked those very pretty toner sheets that you used on the Happy Birthday card. Those were lovely. Thanks.
Such cute cards! Once you get into foiling, it's almost addictive.
Thanks for this timely video! I just got a mini Minc and need inspiration, tips and tricks! TFS!

Lovely cards! ❤
😍Thanks!
also, I wonder if those "spots" are dust that adhered to the card or the foil?
Great cards 😊😊

Great cards. The “specks are probably dust. Stiffer or dust your foil and paper before you put it through
Kristina-what are you using for the "envelope or carrier sheet" you put in the laminator? It is folded was paper or did it come with the minc?
I’ve not had any luck with foiling…I also have a love hate relationship with

So could you use embossing power (with versa mark ink) directly on a toner sheet? Or does a toner sheet need to be foiled? Thanks

@@kwernerdesign thanks so much ❣️

@@kwernerdesign A! now i understand. Thank you for explaining 🙂

What do you use for the carrier sheet ?
In the end I had best results using the clear carrier sheet that came with my Mini Minc.
